Hello all.

FestiveFly and I are going to meet up in Edinburgh just after New Year. She's up here on holiday for a few days.

Haven't got a venue sorted, but we thought lunchtime on Friday 2nd Jan for coffee and/or light lunch.

Anyone else up for it??

Back to my normal posting name since the festive period has passed.....
I might have a spot of bother getting there ontime as the trains are only running a Sunday service!!! I will try my best.

Hope nobody minds, but when i arrived in Edinburgh on Monday i had to get out of there as quickly as possible, sent me a bit nutty, thinking i would see them. I'm in the middle of nowhere as well and can't get a lift!!!!! I promise i'll meet next time as i am here every month or so. Have a great time and a happy new year

If I had kown that it was just going to be Loobie and I we could have met in Lvingston as that is where both LOobie and my parents stay.

Festivefly · 03/01/2004 22:12

So so sorry don't be grumpy,i just couldn't get to a computer very often was filled with memories when i stepped into Edinburgh, and then got stranded in west linton, i promise i will turn out next time. It was all just a bit to much for my little head

charlize · 04/01/2004 11:51

Livingston would have been better for me to.
I just couldn't face the trek in this weather and my nerves got the better of me.

Hello - I missed this and it was on my doorstep Was away for xmas and offline - I'm impressed by you organising something so quickly. Shall have to check MN more frequently for the next one

JanHR · 04/01/2004 20:19

Charlize and LOobie, I will be visiting my parents again in March, Perhaps we can arrange to meet at the Heritage Centre n#in LIvingston one of the days.

M2T · 05/01/2004 09:47

So sorry folks!! Public transport let me down. I stood and waited for a bus for half an hour, only for a bloke to walk passed and tell me there weren't any! I had missed one train by that point. I went home and phoned a taxi which turned up too late for the next train (hourly Sunday service!). I told it bugger off as it would've meant me arriving at 2.30pm.

How pissed off was I? And ds was less than amused, he thought he was going on a Choo choo train!

Tamz77 · 08/01/2004 20:57

My computer's been offline since Christmas Eve so I didn't know (couldn't remember) where or when we would be meeting, or if it was still on. Sorry. Up for another time, definitely.
