OK, the name of the original thread was C**P, but it was the end of the week and I was tired (but not tired and emotional).

Seriously though, anyone up for a Worcester, Droitwich, MAlvern, evesham etc etc meet up?

Hello from a fellow Worcestershire-lass. Are you a name-changer ? I missed the original thread, but my internet has been down for a week or 2 (ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH).

Ailsa · 26/02/2006 20:10

As long as it's evenings or weekend days. Working and no annual leave left.

NomDePlume · 27/02/2006 09:03

bumperoo. I'd prefer a pub one sans kids, if poss.

(God, that sounds like I hate my children...... but ykwim)

Itsthawooluff · 27/02/2006 11:09

Yes, I'm Gumdrop when I was using my work computer to MNet, but at home, I'm logged on as Itsthawooluff. My preference is for evenings (& without the future choosers of my care home if poss).

Ahhhhhhhhhh

DH is all over the place atm with work, so it's prob best to plan a date and I'll see if he's around.

NomDePlume · 27/02/2006 11:12

not only do i hate my children, but I'm an alcoholic child-hater (pub, no kids). Oh the shame....

Itsthawooluff · 27/02/2006 11:28

Does that make me Wolfie rather than Gummy? I'm having a Citizen Smith flashback moment, but I appreciate prob'ly before your time.

Hello folks Smile-glad I just saw this (never think of looking in meet-ups!)

I'd definately be up for an evening meet up (generally any day but Weds is OK). Funnily enough I bumped into Furball at our local pool and we said we should all get together again soon but it seems you beat us to it in getting the ball rolling.

(PS -its hornbag in her new guise)

NomDePlume · 27/02/2006 18:13

cough

BettySpaghetti · 27/02/2006 20:05

You OK NDP? Can I get you a glass of water? Wink

BettySpaghetti · 27/02/2006 21:58

Bump

(for Furball who I think is around now)

NomDePlume · 27/02/2006 21:59

I need a kip, actually. I had 2.5 hours of sleep last night and I'm dead on my feet. Should be in bed, not tied to this sodding pc. Damn my addiction.

Furball · 27/02/2006 22:00

I'm in - just tell me when/where.

I don't mind Swan again, if you all don't, then somewhere thats easy to get to preferably on the southside of Worcester.

Furball · 27/02/2006 22:01

Thanks Betti :) - Didn't recognise you with your clothes on :o

BettySpaghetti · 27/02/2006 22:01

Addiction is bad isn't it -I keep thinking "I'll just press refresh once more". An hour and many refreshes later I'm still here.

Why so little sleep last night? (don't answer if its Blush) Smile

NomDePlume · 27/02/2006 22:02

The Old Rectifying House is nice, in Worcester city by the river. Easily accessible with a good car park.

BettySpaghetti · 27/02/2006 22:02

Oh Hello there! Thought I spied you earlier on another thread.

NomDePlume · 27/02/2006 22:06

ROFL Betty ! Deffo not Blush, DH is away for 3 nights Wink

I don't sleep very well when DH is away (bed feels weird) and so didn't settle 'til 12.30am. DD then woke up at 1.15am complaining of a 'sore ear', didn't go back to sleep until 3.45am. Alarm went off at 6.30am. So actually I fibbed, I did in fact enjoy a whole 3.5 hours in the land of nod. Lucky me.

BettySpaghetti · 27/02/2006 22:08

Poor you -hate nights like that.
Did you ever ditch the dummy -I know you were on the verge of it a while ago -if so how did it go?

Ailsa · 27/02/2006 22:36

Rectifying house is fine for me, I can walk there from my house, depending on what shoes I wear Grin.

Date??

Week beginning 19th March best for me, but does everyone else want to wait that long. Could probably make any night as long as MIL is in a good mood.

Itsthawooluff · 28/02/2006 09:19

How about Friday 24th?? Plus its Mothers Day on Sunday so my DH can't get too arsey about my wild social life - and yes he does consider 1 meal every three months as a wild social life. (Patient sigh).

OP posts:
Furball · 28/02/2006 09:40

Ok for me.

BettySpaghetti · 28/02/2006 11:35

Fine for me too.
