or if anyone wants to meet up there at a weekend I'm usually around on a Sunday

Surfermum · 05/02/2006 15:42

Tuesday's fine by me. Dd1 can make herself useful rounding up her sisters as I'm in no fit state to do it myself.

Flamesparrow · 06/02/2006 10:25

I can probably do Tuesday - I've decided that if I make lots of plans, then this baby has to come out soon so it can break as many as possible

(The showing it the pretty clothes it could wear when it comes out method hasn't been working...)

chjlly · 06/02/2006 16:12

You'll have to count me out I can't get the day off
Hopefully try and make the next one

mumlove · 07/02/2006 20:57

Do you know what time you are going? is it all day/morn/afternoon. as dd has friends from school coming to play in the morning.

Flamesparrow · 08/02/2006 20:13

I won't manage a whole day either - could probably manage just a morning or afternoon though? But seeing as you are all sending me baby popping out thoughts (aren't you?? ), it won't be an issue

SPARKLER1 · 08/02/2006 23:38

I'm free Tuesday.

handlemecarefully · 08/02/2006 23:43

How is the weight loss going Bunny2?

Surfermum · 10/02/2006 18:09

We still on for this then? What time and where shall we meet?

SPARKLER1 · 11/02/2006 23:38

I'm definitely up for it - weather permitting.

Just been looking up half term events and found information to say that there is a "Monster Hunt" at Moors Valley on 14th with Gruffalo Story. My dds would love this so I'm going to phone tomorrow to find out the time and place.

"Half term at Moors Valley Country Park

13 Feb - Animal Adventures - Join the Rangers to hear about "the little mole who knew it was none of his business" and then come and enjoy a walk outdoors to discover what signs of animal life we can find in the Park.
14th Feb - Monster Hunt - Listen to the story of "The Gruffalo" then go on a scavenger hunt to collect materials to make your own monster.
15th Feb - Tree Top Taskforce - We need a group of construction experts to help us design and build an adventure trail along our tree-top walkway in the forest.
16th Feb - After the Storm - Hear the story of what happened "After the Storm" and then plant your very own tree to take home"

Also found this on the website about parking - need to get there early.

bugger

bunny3 · 11/02/2006 23:49

bugger - that looked good.

Oh well, we can still meet for a nice healthy walk, NO cakes, and yet another train ride!

If parking is going to be a problem we need to get there early though.

SPARKLER1 · 12/02/2006 08:12

Not too bad thanks. Have gone off the rails quite a lot the last two weeks. DD2 was ill on Monday so I couldn't go to weigh in. Haven't followed the plan at all this week - so I think I've put on. Haven't stepped on my home scales yet to see the damage. Ah well - the truth will tell this Monday.

SPARKLER1 · 12/02/2006 13:29

Just phoned Moors Valley and they are deinitely fully booked for the Monster Hunt. They've even put on an extra session and that's full too. Never mind.
So what time would you like to meet up? Shall we say about 10am? Do you think that will be a safe time to arrive for parking? Weather permitting of course.

bunny3 · 12/02/2006 20:32

hhmmmm weather forecast light showers. What dya think?
