Hello :o
It is nearly CHRISTMAS
and I am feeling full of festive spirit :o Can't wait for our night out. Indith, you may be carrying me home

StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2011 16:55

why can't you order the liner and hose now?

Indith · 03/12/2011 10:13

Grin I'm sure I'll cope.

Night out will be very, very welcome. Just a week to go!

Christmas is starting. I feel all twitchy though, I want the house to be a bit more organised first, I don't mind general mess (toys, hoovering needing doing and stuff) it is all the piles of stuff that gets me. Anyway, I'm making the candied peel at the moment and most of the junk is just going to get dumped in the loft and organised after Christmas.

SPB jsut don't want to spend the money on them until I know for certain (well as certain as you can be) that he is behaving himself and teh Home Birth is on.

I'm back on iron tablets despite the Spatone .

Looking forward to seeing you all x x

KaraStarbuckThrace · 04/12/2011 10:12

Same here!!! Will definitely be bringing DD with me though. I reckon she will sleep.
I'll probably need to send someone in with some money for my mocktail as I wont be able to take her into Ebony! Or I might just send Foxy and Anita ahead and meet you all at LaTasca.

Indith · 04/12/2011 11:37

Shame you have to bring her (not in a nasty way, I don't mind at all just in a shame for you not being able to get out without child way) but yes I should think Ebony will be a little too noisy and crowded for her!

OP posts:
KaraStarbuckThrace · 05/12/2011 22:27

She should just sleep hopefully!
But she has been waking up 10.30/11pm. It is a PITA bringing her but I am really looking forward to this night out!!

stickyLFDTfingers · 07/12/2011 17:28

with any luck I might get a few more cuddles with little C kara!

Really looking forward to Saturday. I have a specially saved fiver for you indith...

Indith · 07/12/2011 17:49

Tapas is easily eaten with one hand and if she decides it is too exciting to sleep we can play pass the baby.

Foxy and Frozen are added no problem by the way and I didn't have to pay extra deposit for them.

StealthPolarBear · 08/12/2011 18:04

you poor thing :(

KaraStarbuckThrace · 08/12/2011 20:11

Oh no, Indith, I hope your DH is going to entertain the DCs all day so you can rest. How is Dd's tummy?

DurhamDurham · 08/12/2011 20:20

Just seen this thread and would love to come, being called DurhamDurham I'm ideally placed!! However I have plans and can't cancel as would cause great upset with family members. I need to know where to look so I can keep up to date with gatherings but am a bit useless with navigating sites.

My girls are teens but I love babies and will be more than happy to take part in 'Pass the Baby' while mum gets to eat Smile

LeggyBlondeNE · 09/12/2011 09:34

Oo, Tapas and pass-the-baby - who could ask for more?!

StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 11:00

We're always in Meet-Ups DurhamDurham, I see you around quite a bit (always notice the name) so will give you a nudge :)

Leggy, are you coming? (have no idea who is other than INdith and Kara). Brilliant :) I wish juney could join us. Christmas won't be the same without our stick Juney.

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 09/12/2011 12:40

1 sleep to go! I'm not bringing T- he can stay at home and be a grumpy little so and so with DH. I want to eat a meal in peace. I do have a plan for next year though. He should be just about weaned (based on when the other 2 stopped) and I will NOT be pregnant (no laughing at the back please). I plan to get a hotel room, come down in the afternoon have a nice long bath, get ready without "help" and then reserve a table in Ebony for the rest of you by drinking lots and lots a few cocktails. After the meal I shall retire to a double bed and sleep followed by a fry up in the morning to help me recover

StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 13:04

spiffy, that's my plan for this year - DCs are at the panto with Granny. I will have a small lunch then start getting ready I think :)

Indith · 09/12/2011 16:28

Hello Durham. I'm sure we have attempted to lure you to a meet up before haven't we? Anyway you wouls be more than welcome at any time. We usually have a general thread running here in the "meet-ups" section for random chat and daytime meet planning. then we start a separate thread when planning a night out.

SPB your afternoon sounds like bliss.

Spiggy as for next year...Envy Not sure I trust you to not be pregnant though Xmas Grin.

Mind you, next year...since I have already decided that this baby is going to take after his brother and not his sister by 10/11 months my breasts will only be needed for a mid afternoon snack so I will be quite able to get sloshed.

Oh look a flying pig!

SPB, the guest list for you:

Spiggy
SPB
Leggy

Grin Indith. I won't know what to do with myself if I'm not pregnant or bfing-it has been continuous since April 06. And only a 2 week gap since Feb 06 (I mc and was pg with M 2 weeks later).

You might be lucky- my DS2 is just like his brother. Unfortunately in my case that means I get 2 non-sleepers. Why couldn't he have taken after his sister Every single sodding hour last night- he wasn't even feeding properly but just wanted to suck for comfort. With the occasional random bite just to make sure I wasn't getting any sleep. Git.

Good job he's cute during the day or he'd be on ebay by now Grin

KaraStarbuckThrace · 09/12/2011 22:33

LOL at ebaying of children. I have often threatened to eBay DS.
That plan of your sounds divine, Spiggy. However I full expect to be feeding DD for at least another 2 years. However I hope that she will also drop all but the night time feed by the age of 2!
Oh look an entire fleet of flying pigs.
Peers into future. "Mummy, milk please" "okay but be quick or you'll be late for school!" ShockGrin

StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 22:36

do we think it will snow tonight? My bets are on yes

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 10/12/2011 08:00

nooooo. snow is not allowed. Weather forecast this morning said that it would be a new rain front coming in but hopefully I'll be on my way home before it starts.
