Right I have a provisional at La Tasca. As usual we left it too late for the Fat Buddah.

Provisional booking is for 8.30 but is subject to a deposit of £5 a head. I have to ring back Friday. What do we think?

Where is La Tasca? I'm up for it anyway, I can give you mine and AB's £5 on Friday as I am seeing her on Saturday at the LLL meeting in Washington.

Ok we can sort it Friday, I'm happy to pay a few extra £5ers for people I know I will get it from, just not too many! Anyway we can see on Friday and if we have too many uncertain people we can try phoning the Capital instead since they don't ask for a deposit, I just thought Tapas would be fun for a change.

La Tasca by the way is on Saddler Street which is the road heading towards the Castle so not too far to hobble from Ebony after cocktails cocktails .

Hi juney sorry you can't make it on the 10th, but definitely come for cake in 2012 (eek!). Don't be getting yourself into a vicious circle of misery there when there's gateau to be eaten and chat to be had :)

We can cancel and be refunded until a week before. a couple of people can drop out no problem and their deposit just goes towards the bill. If we cancel last minute due to bad weather they keep the deposit but we can use it in January instead so if it snows lots we will just have to get our arses in gear aobut booking a January date.

Have put us down for the meat favourites menu for 6. It is £10 a head as prices are for 2 people. Which makes the Christmas menu seem ridiculously overpriced to me. Anyway. Yes SPB I know you are veggie I have told her and we will be adding a few veggie ones on the night and hell at £10 a head we can splash out and add a few dipping breads and some squid.

Indith - that sounds perfect.
Hopefully no-one will need to pull out :)
Adding the extra bits will be fab, we can add some extra dishes that are not on the set menu, especially veggie bits for our favourite Polar Bear :D

had some awful news - a relative has just had a miscarriage :( I found out she was pg by accident quite early on and was over the moon, she was 12 weeks now, and lost the baby earlier this week. It is so awful.

I mean I found out by accident. I would imagine the pregnancy was planned, not that that really matters
