I have not looked at meet ups for ages now and just saw the one where you all went for Mexican in Brighton.
Really want to meet some normal people with kids in Brighton or Hove. Had 2 good friends with babies but they moved away. Had my second boy 4 months ago and need to meet some people who like a glass of wine (oh who am i kidding - a bottle) and who don't profess to being mother of the year.
Let me know if you up for meeting with the kids in the day or for a night out.

hello, hello!
sorry not been online for ages. had a child free new year - 4 days of too much of everything. it was so good to get away and go mental.

can't do the 14th as have a night out in london on friday night so will not be back in time. let me know of any other nights out.
ave good night and have a baileys chaser for me. hoho.

MABS · 07/01/2006 18:41

Will def have the Baileys chaser for you Lady Jess! Who else is up for next Sat ?

Spidermama · 07/01/2006 22:48

Count me in.
Baileys? Mmmmmmmm!

desperatehousewife · 08/01/2006 09:47

Lidl do a fantastic Bailey's rip off called 'Queen Margo' (?!) at £4.29 - found myself supping it all xmas...how classy am I?!!

Spidermama · 08/01/2006 20:00

PMSL @ Queen Margo. Such a Lidl-ish name.
I'd better give it a test drink before Christmas 2006 DHW. I wonder if it has the same aphrodisiac qualities that the real Baileys has for me.

MABS · 08/01/2006 20:03

I may have to get DHW to buy a bottle of this classy plonk for me too. You stil coming to Falmer on Thurs Spidey?

Spidermama · 10/01/2006 22:20

I'd like to come on Thursday. Can you sign me in MABs? If not don't worry. I'll have my baby with me so he'll probably curtail my chatting ability somewhat anyway.

Mind you, isn't there a creche? Does that accept babies? (He'll be one in a couple of weeks).

MABS · 10/01/2006 23:22

You can take a chance on getting him in the creche, it's very good but usually very busy. If you wait in reception on the sofas i'll be there to sign you in at 1pm.

noddyholder · 11/01/2006 09:03

I won't be able to make Thursday but will see you all Saturday. Is it a dressy up place? As I am out in the morning and won't be able to get home to change so will be wearing casual jeans etc

MABS · 11/01/2006 09:17

never been Noddy, think jeans will be fine tho' i'll be casual. x
