Watford/Barnet/Enfield Evening Meet-up - It'll have to be post Xmas

We are probably too late for a dec meet-up but I thought i'd start the wheels rolling for january -give us something to look forward to after xmas.
So how about THURSDSAY 12th JANUARY?
Let's keep it pretty cheap as I guess we will all be broke ! I will suggest Gritz in Barnet High Street (Pizza/Pasta) where some of us have been once before. If anyone has a better suggestion feel free.
So how many am I booking for ......????????

Would def be interested (I assume we are talking an evening thing?), but would need to be sure that DH would be home for childcare duties so can't confirm until nearer the time.

chicagomum - yes definitely evening (check the thread title !!!) We tend to meet up more with kids in the spring/summer when we can do outside activites. Evening meet-ups are so much nicer as we actually get to talk to each other !

Think you should stick the meet-up in your calendar in big letters and insist your dh be home that evening. After all he's getting plenty of notice !

hiya! i'd be up for this meet too!! I was also supposed to go to the last one but couldnt make it. Im 27 and im in Enfield Town.

I'd love to come, but any chance we can avoid Thursdays in Jan? Have my NHS antenatal classes, and as there are only 4 I don't really want to miss one. Can cancel the stuff I do any other night though! Really don't want to miss it as it will be last one before baby arrives .

Hi scooter66. Would be lovely to meet you. I'm not sure there have been any specific St Albans meet-ups - although our group are quite widespread and we did so a st albans meet a while back in Wagamamma.

well my stomach propbaly looks like i'm due in feb but I promise you I am DEFINITELY not pregnant. Tabs is a regular at our meet-ups and she is due in feb - and Jasnem will be new at the meet-up is also due then.

I have two boys of 7 and 4 and i have NO intention of having any more ever ever, ever !

I think the NON pregnant mums will definitely outweigh the pregnant mums. Literally as well as metaphorically

Hi scooter, I organised a couple of meet-ups in St Albans. The first one attracted 10 people but the second one there was only Tabs and me. And we'd never met before - we had a fab evening!

Those two meet-ups were a year apart. If I follow that pattern the next one will be in Summer 2006! Unless anyone else wants to organise one, which of course anyone can!
