Watford/Barnet/Enfield Evening Meet-up - It'll have to be post Xmas

We are probably too late for a dec meet-up but I thought i'd start the wheels rolling for january -give us something to look forward to after xmas.
So how about THURSDSAY 12th JANUARY?
Let's keep it pretty cheap as I guess we will all be broke ! I will suggest Gritz in Barnet High Street (Pizza/Pasta) where some of us have been once before. If anyone has a better suggestion feel free.
So how many am I booking for ......????????
Would be lovely to have some new faces for the new year - I know chicagomum is now back in town ... any one else ???

Oh Tabs, you're so witty But it does depend which one of us gets there first!!
I'm feeling SO huge now, but am determined to come.... get a bit more freedom before this one pops out. I've suddenly realised that having one child is easy, compared to the scenarios going round in my head about handling two. But I'm NOT eating so much as last time we were there; I thought I was going to burst on the bus home!!!

ixel, can you believe last time we met up was june 2004. I would have sworn it was the summer just gone !

I know... scary! Ds was so tiny then, and now he's a marauding 2 year old. Even more scary is the fact that I've only been bothered to go back to the Princess Di playground twice since then!
Coming on my own btw; friend's dh had already bagsied Wednesday night for himself.

No problem about your friend Ixel. Maybe next time. We've only been back once !

OH cr*P, have totally forgotten about this since the last time I posted on this thread. DH has been pulled in to work late tonight, Wednesday and Thursday so I'll have to pull out. However if anyone is keen to do N20 soft play area any morning except Mondays do let me know.

We did indeed have a fab evening. There was Anorak, Ixel, Melsy, Tabs and me. Not sure what happened to the others so hope ladym, honeypot1, scooter and jigger aren't still looking for a parking spot in Barnet High street as I know Anorak had trouble parking.

Yes thankyou , for a much needed night out. Was most enjoyable and I now look about 16wks preggy not 9+5 after that HUMUNJEOUSNOUS spaghetti!!!!!!!. Kayleigh hope ds gets well soon. Anorak , see you at Kids planet .

Sorry ixel, I didn't see much of you due to where we were sitting. And I hope I didn't seem ignorant to you and Tabs but my hearing is a little defective and I couldn't hear what you were saying a lot of the time. Especially with that woman with the cake on her head making so much noise!

Dont worry about it; I couldn't see you either!! Lets book a round table next time. Had a lovely time, and a lie in this morning while ds caused havoc in the bedroom around me .

Do you think the no shows are still trying to park in Barnet ? Odd that no-one has posted say why they didn't turn up.

ive just come accross this thread and realised Lady M and i were suppoised to be there 2!!! Havent been on mumsnet much lately so sorry!!! think mite need bit of a nudge. We went to Clown Town in Palmers Green with kiddies, if any of you want to ever meet up there on a thurs/fri wen im off work, b great to see some new faces. Sorry about last nite, totally slipped our minds, getting over Xmas n stuff, been so busy!! take care x
