I'll be here although will be off to watch x-factor soon!

santabops - I would say A is true and B false for you.

Rainbow - A is true and B false for you.

Here's mine:

A) In 1996 I was a contestant on Gladiator (with Ulrika Johnson presenting) and won through to the final. It was a closely fought contest and I finished as runner-up.

B) In 1988 I stepped in at the last minute when the strippergram failed to turn up and and did a sexy striptease right down to black stockings, suspenders, bra and skimpy knickers and asked the lucky(?) fella to stick a £5 note in my knickers with only his teeth.

QueenEagle · 26/11/2005 18:08

Oooh nearly forgot - if I win can I have an Audi TT please!!!

Whizzz · 26/11/2005 18:15

donnie · 26/11/2005 18:21

WalkinginaRainbowWonderland · 26/11/2005 18:23

jayzmummy

B is true

merryberry · 26/11/2005 18:42

I'm here in a sad x-factor lurking kinda way.

I think A was true for first poster, and then B was true cos footballer was mad she went away with model.

Carlk · 26/11/2005 18:44

I'm here, dd and I are overdosing on our juice. Hers is apple and mine is the Hardy's loopy jooce

Earlybird · 26/11/2005 18:45

I'm here too, though off and on until I get dd to bed. Then will join you all full time with X Factor in the background. (Hoping Chico or the Nolans go home tonight)

It's an odd feeling to think that 80 women I've never met (but know a fair bit about) are meeting so nearby. I could be at the restaurant in less than 15 minutes by taxi.....yet, won't be joining tonight. Ah well, maybe next time....

In the meantime, let's have fun here!

Carlk · 26/11/2005 18:45

grrr hate it when that happens

Lonelymum · 26/11/2005 18:52

I'm here although dh has left me to put all 4 children to bed. Still, I get the last laugh - he went to Cardiff to watch his side (Australia) play Wales in rugby, and Wales have just won! Ha ha!

zebratwizzler · 26/11/2005 18:52

I would have gone if it were only 15 min. taxi ride away...

mmmmmm Could-be-true Facts

A) I used to live next door to Whoopi Goldberg
B) My aunt went out with Eddie Van Halen, and now is hairdresser to Harrison Ford.

jstbcs · 26/11/2005 18:52

jayzmummy, both true? ur sil having affair with ur v famous god father who is married with kids?

toomanypushchairs · 26/11/2005 18:58

I'm here. Was supposed to be there but my sisters (xena) 2 little one's have now got chicken pox and she doesn't want to leave them. Not brave enough to go on my own.

Earlybird · 26/11/2005 19:01

Yep - another aspect of being a single mum is that there's not someone automatically around to babysit when I'd like to go out. Still can't believe none of dd's past babysitters were available...but, there we are.

I've even thought fleetingly about bundling dd up, and dashing to the restaurant for a quick drink/hello. But, think that would be too weird and I'd probably be even more frustrated at not being able to stay!

suedonim · 26/11/2005 19:21

I'm here but am feeling I ought to go and do some Christmasy things.
