Seems like we haven't had a City meetup for ages, now that Kayleigh's gone and got herself a life. Anyone fancy meeting for lunch in (say) Starbucks on Appold Street? Some time midweek in late November, for example?

All suggestions re dates/places welcome!

Yes Kayleigh you must....as I've got some news....and I'm NOT talking Tanner Krolle handbags here!!!

Marina · 16/11/2005 14:32

Kayleigh have you been away that long then? She doesn't know HandbagAddiction?

HandbagAddiction · 16/11/2005 14:34

I'm assuming not Marina....but I could be wrong!!!

Kayleigh · 16/11/2005 14:46

"News" on Mumsnet can only mean one thing . Am I right ???? Will go thread searching.
Will be so good to see you all it's been ages.

Binkie, no definitely not in Dubai yet (if ever!) - although wouldn't mind some of that sunshine right now. Got the winter blues :-(

Kayleigh · 16/11/2005 14:53

Do Louis Vuitton do a changing bag ?

HandbagAddiction · 16/11/2005 14:57

Wills · 17/11/2005 11:26

Many congrats HA. John Lewis are doing some gorgeous looking RED (sorry fav colour) leather changing bags. Expensive but honestly worth it!

Wills · 17/11/2005 11:27

Kayleigh ... what are you doing now then?

Kayleigh · 17/11/2005 11:55

Hi Wills, am selling childrens educational books & toys. Am planning to quit city job in few months so am working hard to build up business. Am absolutely loving it - but very hard work at moment with working in city 3 days a week too. That's why not been mumsnetting.

beachyhead · 17/11/2005 12:02

Ooooo congratulations HBA.....so exciting. are we aiming for 12.30 ish.....Kayleigh, bring one of your catalogues.....see you

Kayleigh · 17/11/2005 14:06

will do beachyhead, can't wait to see the little one. Seems like only yesterday you were announcing your news. Where does the time go ......

Marina · 17/11/2005 14:07

I will be looking forward to seeing both catalogue and mini-beachy

Sponge · 17/11/2005 21:40

I think the 24th is good for me too and would love to see Beachy's little one and HBA's tiny bump .

Sponge · 17/11/2005 22:45

Arse. Just realised I can't do the 24th. I'll keep an eye on the thread and see if there's a date change, otherwise a Dec Xmas one will have to be arranged.

Kayleigh · 18/11/2005 07:47

very eloquent sponge

Wills · 18/11/2005 09:46

Well I'm with Sponge on this one. Waiting for the Dec thread!

Sponge · 18/11/2005 12:58

Well you know me. Always to be relied on to keep the tone erudite and highborw.

Sponge · 18/11/2005 12:58

Highbrow even...

Kayleigh · 18/11/2005 16:53
Smile
beachyhead · 21/11/2005 17:15

CountessDracula · 21/11/2005 17:19

You do know it's going to be minus 20 on Thursday!

HandbagAddiction · 21/11/2005 17:42

CD, where did you hear that? BBC Weather site says 8 degrees for Thursday....

Kayleigh · 21/11/2005 19:53

It'll be minus 20 in her crypt

CountessDracula · 21/11/2005 23:41

heh heh!

no was exaggerating

frogs · 22/11/2005 18:02

Hooray, my 11am meeting that I feared might overrun has been cancelled, so nothing to stop me being there on time. May have to bring dd2, though, as childminder has to take her child to Drs.
