New thread to discuss next meetup for coffee and chat. Can I suggest Bexleyheath this time? BHS has loads of room in their cafe for prams - Starbucks is really too small if there are lots of us. Anyone for BHS in Bexleyheath on Monday 14 November at around 12.30?

Hi all - is there room for one more little one? I'm a new mum of an 8 week old DS - who's finally gone off to sleep after having his first jabs today. I'm based in Sydenham, but would love to come along to any other South East Mum's meet-ups that are arranged. Are there any in the pipe-line?

KBear · 16/11/2005 22:46

Only the curry night on 19th December so far, smiling. Not that you're not welcome to the Greenwich/Bexleyheath meet-ups, there was a thread full of Sydenham mums that you might also want to contact as they would be nearer to you. Check down the meet-ups.

Watch this thread for updates. Someone might organise a coffee soon!

Hi all - is it me or is this site really confusing and awkward to use? Anyway, finally found my way back here - any updates on meet ups at all? or should I be looking at another thread? Can anyone advise?

rachelmendham · 02/12/2005 16:46

Hmm - we just got back from the states this evening and maybe I'll plan a coffee meet-up - I just need to consult my diary as I've no idea what I'm doing on a weekly basis anymore... Mitchell's birthday is this coming Friday so maybe the week after - I'll let you all know.

KBearthePolarBear · 02/12/2005 21:43

Hi Jen - welcome "home"! Good time? I bet Mitchell has a ton of presents.
K

jenweber630 · 03/12/2005 12:43

Oh my gosh yes - I had to bring a third piece of luggage (a large cardboard box) back full of all the presents that family got him as well as things I got him. There were lots of great post-Thanksgiving sales and we went shopping crazy. I'm exhausted - Mitchell decided to have some jetlag last night - here's to some good sleep in the next few nights.

dropinthemanger · 05/12/2005 18:18

I may have to Bow out of this one, folks! Will let you know a bit nearer the tiem but am working loads,am broke and have got alot of other commitments!

dropinthemanger · 05/12/2005 18:18

Still want to come though!!!

jenweber630 · 06/12/2005 18:49

Ok - I'm wimping out for a December meet. Mitchell and I have hade the craziest sleeping schedule since coming back and I've GOT to get ready for Christmas etc. I've got loads of Christmas cards to do and presents to get sent abroad... At least, despite the crazy sleep schedule though, at least he's sleeping through the night again for the first time in over 3 weeks.

Though, I am going to Bluewater tomorrow morning for the rest of the Christmas shopping - if anyone feels like meeting for a coffee let me know - I plan to leave home around 11am...
