New thread to discuss next meetup for coffee and chat. Can I suggest Bexleyheath this time? BHS has loads of room in their cafe for prams - Starbucks is really too small if there are lots of us. Anyone for BHS in Bexleyheath on Monday 14 November at around 12.30?

Prettyfull · 31/10/2005 14:12

Hoges · 31/10/2005 14:15

Prettyfull - how about we meet outside the library at 9:50 tomorrow morning and go together?

Prettyfull · 31/10/2005 14:17

I know I already responded but thought I would add something to bump this to the top... I'm looking forward to Monday - can you tell me where and what BHS is?

Hoges · 07/11/2005 17:31

Jen - BHS is a shop (British Home Stores). You must have seen them around the place.

KBear · 07/11/2005 17:36

It's in the Broadway shopping centre - multi-storey car park above the centre. It's at the opposite end to Marks & Spencers - when you get there you'll know if you're at M&S you've got to walk to the other end!

Do you know how to get to Bexleyheath Jen?

Just to recap on the plan for next week -

BHS in Bexleyheath on Monday 14 November at around 12.30.

TandBump · 08/11/2005 09:38

It's upstairs in BHS, there are lifts (two but one is out of order)..you have to walk right to back of store on left to find lifts...

jenweber630 · 08/11/2005 23:30

Yes - and I know where the shopping center is. See you Monday everyone!!! If anyone wants to carpool from Greenwich/Blackheath I would be happy to do so - just CAT me.

KBear · 11/11/2005 11:37

Would love to join you if you don't mind. Dd may be too sleepy though as we're out in the morning already. Will try our best!

TandBump · 11/11/2005 23:09

just thinking how will I recognise everyone?

Prettyfull · 12/11/2005 12:12

Hi ya all, I should be coming on Monday although dd has had MMR and really feeling the side effects, so i'l see how she is that morning. I hope i recognise you all too lol.

dropinthe · 14/11/2005 10:50

See you all later-for any newbies-I have 2 boys and have short blond hair-you will find me very close to a man called Bob-the bulider,of course,as always very hard to go in BHS cafe without my two crawling all over him!

tex111 · 14/11/2005 14:54

Hi gals, just to say that our little girl Rosie arrived on 1 November and hopefully I'll be able to join you guys for a get-together soon. Actually feeling much better now than I did heavily pregnant! Hope the meet-up went well today.

KBear · 14/11/2005 18:43

Hi tex, congratulations on the arrival of Rosie. See you next time.

Nice to see everyone today - see you for the curry in December if not before.

I'm sorry, I have a really feeble excuse for not turning up on Monday. I came on-line on Monday morning to check the time of the meet-up, get train times, find out where BHS was and print off a map from Streetmap, except I couldn't get on-line because dh had taken the router to work. I'm afraid when faced with the doing everything the old-fashioned way (guesstimating the time, phoneing for train times, phoneing BHS for location and finding and A-Z) I just wimped out. I'll try harder next time. Did you all have fun?

bran · 15/11/2005 19:49

That should be "phoning" not "phoneing".

gartbart · 16/11/2005 17:12

Hi all - looks like I just missed out on a meet up - just found the site - I live in Charlton with my two terrors (dd 2yrs, ds 6mths)and would love to meet up with some other mums in the area, as my old friends without little ones just don't get it.....you know what i mean. Anyway please let me know if anything else is going on and i'll try and come along

dropinthe · 16/11/2005 17:17

Welcome gartbart-I'm in Plumstead-we are all going out for a curry soon-will find thread for you!

Hi gartbart (hi Drop!) - welcome to MN. I expect we'll find time for a coffee in December before the Christmas Curry meet-up. Watch this space.
