MistleToo · 29/11/2005 10:45

where's the original thread with where it is and the Travel Lodge - I haven't got a clue where I'm going!

I have to go to Manchester first to get Gobble!

roisin/lilbet - shall we meet in the Travel Lodge and go to wherever it is together? (and anyone else who is staying there) if so, what time?

Are Jan and Chandra coming now?

crimbocrazydazy · 29/11/2005 11:45

Is anyone from Leeds apart from Yorkiegirl and myself? Its nice that people are coming from all over and makes it more special I think!!!!

oLILItownofBEThlehem · 29/11/2005 11:46

It won't let me CAT!

Jools, yes good idea, we should get there at about 6.30 weathwr and traffic permitting, but then we have to get ready.

Waht time will you be there?

Gobbledigook · 29/11/2005 11:47

I wanted to go earlier so I could have a sleep first!! I kid you not, I'm exhausted and it's a good opportunity to get away for the afternoon and sleep!

Dependent on Jools though. Just pray for me she some decent CDs in the car!

MistleToo · 29/11/2005 12:27

cheeky booger - ok we'll get there early!

Lilbet - what time does 'this thing kick off?' - you give me a time and I'll be there!!!

is the eatery walking distance? I don't mind driving if I have to.

Gobbledigook · 29/11/2005 12:28

It's right next door - like most travelodge type places that are next door to a 'pub'

roisin · 29/11/2005 16:57

Travel Lodges don't usually have somewhere to "meet" do they? Usually just a tiny grubby foyer? It is right nextdoor to the pub. So how about meet at the bar?!

I don't do much dressing up, so won't take long to "get ready". Traffic permitting I guess we should be in the bar about 7?

Lilibet - I will text you and email your work address once I've got the boys in bed.

MistleToo · 29/11/2005 17:35

okey doke - I'm not a frequenter of Travel Lodges so haven't a scooby .

It won't take me long to get ready either!

Appologies for the delay in answering.

Unfortunately I have not find a sitter , family who could take care of DS overnight are moving house next weekend and DH is going away in the early hours of Saturday, so not really a good idea to drive back to York late at night when I have had an early start (BTW, a what time do you expect to finish?... I want to go but I'm afraid I would have to do a Cinderella and disapear -hopefully with both shoes on- long before midnight...)

NBG & Trace2 - Everyone seems to be getting there at 7 - 7.30 so do you want picking up earlier cos depending on traffic 7.00 might be pushing it a bit to get there for start of meal. Wot do you think? Its up to you!!

Gobbledigook · 29/11/2005 18:36

I'm having my haircut on Saturday morning so shouldn't take me long to get ready (ie no hairdrying trauma!) - that's if I don't sleep on it! Oh no, dilemma now about whether or not to have a siesta!

WedgiesMum · 29/11/2005 20:45

Notice roisin asking if there is a bar extension might have known it would be her..........

.........so is it open longer then????

trace2 · 29/11/2005 21:12

cuffyj1 would be a good idea will e-mail nbg now

Chandra · 29/11/2005 21:19

Yorkiegirl, I am very very tempted, the only thing that worries me now is that knowing that there are some restrictions regarding the restaurant (and that I should have sent a check long ago) I find it a bit rude to keep you in "hold" until I find yet another sitter. So probably the best thing to do would be for me to try to sort the sitter problem and then contact the restaurant to see if they can squeeze me in. The only thing I would need would be the name under which the reserve had been made and the telephone of the place if you have it at hand. Could you please CAT me those details?

Thanks in advance
