Or if anyone fancies it we have a brand new huge soft play area opened up in livingston, its called tumnble zone and is a jelly club idea, livingston is also in the middle of glasgow and edinburgh!!Train station close by too

Prettybird · 20/09/2005 18:02

Sorry you weren't able to make it on Sunday Loobie - one day we'll meet up!

Livingston might have a train station, but althugh it has good links to Edinburgh, they are crap to Glasgow as the train takes forever.

I'm happy to drive there though - and I could pick up Aimsmum and her dd if she wanted. I go across to Livingston regularly for my work as we have an office there.

Does Tumble Zone have a decent cafe? - the one thing that Little Marcos lacked was proper seating for the grown ups and things for them to eat - despite the fact that you have to stay to supervise.

Would love to. Don't mind where for me as can drive but think Edinburgh/Glasgow would be best for the majority given public transport links. Not that I have any decent ideas of where to add to the conversation of course.....

Gomez · 20/09/2005 19:42

Ooh had an idea. What about the Gallery of Modern Art and if any older kids are there they can go to the art class - presuming (1) they still run and (2) we meet on a Saturday morning . Okay nearly a good idea just need to thing the next one through a bit more.

Gomez · 20/09/2005 19:42

In Glasgow obv....

right I will leave this to those who know what they are talking about in the future .

weesaidie · 21/09/2005 20:35

I can go to Glasgow or Livi, don't mind, as long as where we go is easy to get to from train/bus station!!

What about a month or 6 weeks from now??

So either weekend, Oct 22nd/ 23rd... or weekend 29th or 30th?

And did we decide Glasgow/Livingston?

sweetkitty · 21/09/2005 22:31

glad you all had a good time was thinking about you all

well now that we've moved and are officially Motherwell residents we're up for a meet up as well.

Glasgow or Edinburgh good for us, dying to meet you all.

MadameButterfly · 22/09/2005 11:24

Hi all,
I currently live in England, but will be visiting my mum in Livingson from 15th to 25th October.

Would it be possible to arrange a meet in Livingston while I am there.

weesaidie · 22/09/2005 12:19

So, what would everyone prefer date and place wise!!

Vote now please.

Toothache · 22/09/2005 12:31

Glasgow please! I just cannot imagine how I would get through to Livingston!

weesaidie · 22/09/2005 13:28

Glasgow is fine by me, what about everyone else?

And what date? I can do any.
