How about a non-exclusive hotel? Xmas Grin

poobumfartbollocks · 03/12/2010 17:53

Awh tee I'd love to invite myself to stay in a non-exclusive hotel but unfortunately I have to collect the kids from the ex at 8am on Sunday so I need a clear head one way or the other Xmas Grin

TryLikingClarity · 03/12/2010 18:25

I still have no idea what to wear, will have a mad panic tomorrow evening to find something.

See you all at 7pm in TGI. (I'm hoping it's 7pm)

poobumfartbollocks · 03/12/2010 18:26

poobumfartbollocks · 03/12/2010 18:28

Tee - Bishoplyn is drinking - I'm driving her Grin

Tee2072 · 03/12/2010 18:33

So that's 3 of us!

And so nice of you being the designated driver!

Tee2072 · 03/12/2010 18:33

ChilledChick are you still around? Poo is the one who organized us so talk to her about coming along!

poobumfartbollocks · 03/12/2010 18:38

Well I say the more the merrier - crispy can't come so we're one down there anyway. I did speak most severely to her about this but have been forced to let her off this time as its her dds birthday treat.

Some People Have No Sense of Priorities

booyhohoho · 03/12/2010 20:40

i forget, are we eating or not?

TryLikingClarity · 03/12/2010 20:58

Not eating is not an option, Boo!

Let them all drink if they want, but I need food Xmas Wink

booyhohoho · 03/12/2010 21:02

that'll do me. we can be the two greedy bores in the corner then Grin

poobumfartbollocks · 03/12/2010 21:11

Three greedy bores.....

TryLikingClarity · 03/12/2010 21:11

Yep, that'll be us Xmas Smile I look forward to it.

You planning on parking in Vic Sq car park?

I think that place is like a huge maze, but it is a very handy place to park. The past few times I've been there I've forgotten where I've parked and have walked around and around to try to find my car. And that was without having drunk anything Blush

poobumfartbollocks · 03/12/2010 21:16

TLC - yip parking in victoria square but stealing my DD1's idea - photo of the number of the parking space on the phone when you park the car then you can find it again - workds a treat

booyhohoho · 03/12/2010 21:17

yes, i am parking there, it is big and expensive but i CBA walking anywhere. still have no idea what i am wearing.

booyhohoho · 03/12/2010 21:18

that is a very clever idea poo. well done mini poo.

poobumfartbollocks · 03/12/2010 21:20

I was astounded - we'd parked and I said something like "we need to remember the number because I can never find the car in here"

She looked at me with that teenager FACE and said "why don't you take a photo of the number on your phone"

DOH moment

Oh to be 12 Xmas Grin

booyhohoho · 03/12/2010 21:24

i know DS1 was teaching me how to play a game on his laptop today. i was in Shock, he can't read but boy can he work a computer! Grin

TryLikingClarity · 03/12/2010 21:34

My DS is almost 10 months and can say two words, "hiya" and "cat" - I look forward to the days when he is as clued-up as your DD, Poo and your DS1, Boo.

Until then I will just have to play peekaboo 10 times a day as I do now with DS Confused

booyhohoho · 03/12/2010 21:40

aww, TLC, ds2 is 18 months and still only says hiya, mama, and dada. he attempts other words but tehy all sound the same. except for cat, which is either a high pitched squeal or a high pitched meow sound.

TryLikingClarity · 03/12/2010 21:46

He makes a meow sound? Great!

If we ask DS where the cat is he looks around the room all excited looking for her. Sadly for DS his affection for her is not mutual.

booyhohoho · 03/12/2010 21:47

yep same here, our cats hear ds meowing and the either bolt from the room or shuffle off as discreetly as possible. their favourite time of day is 7pm, when dses go to bed. they get the sofa back then. Grin

TryLikingClarity · 03/12/2010 21:58

I have tried a few times to introduce DS to Matilda (our cat) There's a pic of her on my profile, if you're interested.

I hold his hands and get him to 'stroke' her, but sometimes he's a bit over zealous and ends up pulling her ears and tail. Not good!

She also breathes a sigh of relief when DS goes to bed each night Grin
