We thought Pearce's, Butterfly. Shall we say at 12 then?

Otherwise would love to meet for coffee/dogwalk if I can fit it in. DH is arriving on Thursday so I will have Tuesday and Wednesday free then will be quite busy. I ma starting to regret just booking two weeks. It seems like a lot but is not really.

It is just down from John Lewis, on Leith Walk. I went there a few years ago, on the recommendation of a MNetter and it was lovely.

Not surprising that you hadn't noticed it. Being a lazy laid back Canadian and all.

i probably won't come if i can't leave the kids for the day. leave it with me, i'll what i can do.

MmeLindt · 07/08/2010 16:39

I will most likely leave the DC with my SIL, but it does not bother me at all if there are DC there. I kind of like DC. Thankfully.

And they have a lovely little play area at Pearce's (which is why I suggested meeting there) so if you want to bring them then they might not be too bored.

Besom · 07/08/2010 19:07

Stewie - it was an old man's pub (DH's grandad's local) until relatively recently and they haven't changed the name or the outside significantly, so I can understand why you wouldn't have noticed it!

Macdog · 08/08/2010 10:12

I won't have dd with me bacuase we are going to a show at night, but other peoples DC don't bother me

MmeLindt · 08/08/2010 21:55

Oh poo, I'm in Edinburgh, but I'm going to a BBQ on Saturday. Have a great time everyone!

MmeLindt · 09/08/2010 11:05

Oops, sorry. I am not in UK yet, I am available next Tuesday (after the meet-up) not this week.

We can have a chat at the meet up and arrange something.

Not sure what to do with my dog though, as my SIL cannot take her.

Did not mean to ignore you, Fairylights. Shame you cannot make it.
