Keeping to food and drink recommendations and cutting portion sizes but not calorie counting

Hi 👋 I'm not alone! How's it going @bin85 I'm sticking to it although not rigidly every single day as I've had a couple of dinners out unavoidable due to work Blush so hoping to stay on plan! I have been getting headaches think that. Light be lack of carbs and well done on the 4lbs down Flowers

My DP is not on board either yet.Grin @bin85 how much are you looking to lose? if you don't mind sharing. Im looking at around 17kg 2.6 stone I think. I've also been trying to get my steps up, and was good and turned down cocktails Hmm worth it in the end I suppose. Hope you had a good day

Anything would be nice especially if it stays off!A stone or a stone and a half I think.
Good day eating wise but not much walking.

MrsWooster · 08/09/2017 21:27

I did the shakes version - sort of blog on the diabetes thread called starting the newcastle diet. Altjough it is different content, the vlcd aspect is the same and i will confirm that it was easier than I thought it would be, MUCH quicker than I thought it would be and MUCH, MUCH more satisfying!

EezerGoode · 08/09/2017 21:30

How does this work then? You just eat 800 calls a day? Or no carbs or something

user1494340956 · 08/09/2017 22:17

@mrsWooster I think you can chose shakes if it's easier that's what he mentions in the book. How long were you on it if you don't mind me asking?
@EezerGoode it's basically 800 calories daily for 8 weeks Based on a low carb Mediterranean-style diet. There's lots of information online and Groups.
