Morning all

Spreadsheet as per - and I can see there are some really great results already, and some good losses even though we were in the infamous week 3!

Brace yourselves for week 4 being potentially challenging too. (Sorry Smile
But from now on, weight loss should be steady and consistent - not necessarily every day, but you should see a satisfying downward trajectory.

Good morning all and thank you for the new thread and spreadsheet. STS pretty much this week but I’ve put on some work trousers this morning that feel looser and I feel positive about KOKO.

Not posted much over this last week as quite busy, meal planing has helped me stay on track. Have a good week everyone!

TeamToeBeans · 26/01/2026 09:15

Morning all. I’m very slightly up on last week’s weight, but still just under my 150lb short term goal, so I’m reasonably happy with that. I’ve probably pushed my luck a couple of times last week, so I’m planning on being extra strict this week. Good to know in advance that this week is unlikely to show huge losses, so I won’t get demoralised.

I’m making the sausage, broccoli and halloumi bake for dinner tonight. That’s likely to be a regular fixture in my meal plans as it goes down well with the DCs.

GreenRedBlue · 26/01/2026 09:18

Morning all, thanks @BIWI for the new thread. I also had a spell of feeling disheartened over the weekend when it felt like the scales were not budging despite all the efforts but I managed to give my head a good shake and remembered it is wk 3.. Once I'd caught up on the posts on the last thread with others feeling similar i felt better. Also had a teeny bit of a loss (0.3lb) this week in the end so I guess thats not bad for this week considering, I just need to keep going!

BIWI · 26/01/2026 09:22

Don’t forget three key things this week:

  • water
  • fat
  • veg/salad (and a little fruit if you like)

… but still keep an eye out for those pesky carbs ;)

0.5lb down in the end this week, I was slightly less strict over the weekend and tend to not drink as much water as I'm out and about a lot (and don't like carrying water bottles everywhere before someone suggests it). Back to it this morning.

EnchantedDaytime · 26/01/2026 09:25

Sorry, wrong name, I chop and change. Stuck with this one for the week now.

SemmaLina · 26/01/2026 09:30

2lb off !
Very pleased
Many thanks @BIWI for all the time you put into running Bootcamp

BIWI · 26/01/2026 09:33

You are very welcome!

Thanks for the new post for the new week.

I'm down 1lb which isn't amazing but it's the right direction! 5lb down in total.

Morning all.

Another few pounds off this week, which I should be delighted with but I’m just a few ounces short of having lost a full stone this bootcamp, which would definitely be cause for celebrating (even if it was a stone made up entirely of Christmas over indulgence and water). I will KOKO knowing this week is a tough one, but probably do a cheeky midweek weigh in to see if I can get over the line!

Have a good week all, and keep those recipe suggestions coming

RightTurnClyde · 26/01/2026 10:18

Thanks @BIWI!

In spite of a slightly odd day yesterday I'm a loser again this week, and have passed the half-stone mark.

Dinner out last night was fantastic. The protein and veg were centred, and the white carbs were a relatively tiny amount (by modern standards). However they were more integral to the dish than I'd realised. There was also very weird warm lighting in the restaurant which didn't detract from (or perhaps even enhanced) the taste but made it really difficult to differentiate the different elements of the dish. That sounds a bit incredible when I read it back but it definitely did something odd to colours and textures that made it difficult to differentiate similar shaped elements in the sauce. It was delicious though and just I went with it and enjoyed every mouthful. I did swerve both wine and pudding.

Back on it today again though. PMS week so might even gain a bit and as a daily weigher that will be mentally difficult.

TheOnlyMrsW · 26/01/2026 10:32

Thanks @BIWI again for this, have been MIA as a busy weekend and strongly suspect that my scales are trolling me 😆

19/01 - 4am 175.4lb
19/01 - 9am 181lb
20/01 - scales stop working
24/01 - new batteries in scales
25/01 - 4am 172.8lb
25/01 - 8am 179lb
26/01 - 178lb

Yesterday's 4am read was definitely correct, I was so surprised that I got down on the bathroom floor to check! Going to order some more today and just koko, off to catch up on the old thread, will update properly later

RightTurnClyde · 26/01/2026 10:50

@TheOnlyMrsW I need new scales but I'm too scared to buy any in case they turn out to be less kind than the current ones BlushGrin Yours are definitely up to something!

KellyWithABigBelly · 26/01/2026 11:07

Thank you for the new thread @BIWI.No change on the scales for me this week.

tinyspiny · 26/01/2026 11:14

0.5 lb loss for me this week , which is really aggravating as I’ve not been doing anything different from the previous weeks , I’m very busy this week so I think it will be mainly salads .

YourShiningAutumnOceanCrashing · 26/01/2026 11:41

Good morning everyone, and thanks again @BIWI.💐

It's going well here, just plodding along making positive decisions for my health. I can see that things are shifting (water weight at this early stage tbf but it still feels good) and my sleep improved again last night which is so, so nice!

Happy Monday and may we all be losers this week!

Have you read my posts about weeks 3 and 4?! I’d also like to point out that you have lost HALF A STONE! So how is that aggravating?

Rayna37 · 26/01/2026 12:02

Small gain for me, I was up down up down daily last week and was out of the house much of Sunday so struggled with water. I did laugh at myself when I said “what I like about the zoo is there are plenty of loos” !

Rayna37 · 26/01/2026 12:03

”chaffles” with egg and ham for breakfast, will be salad of some type for lunch and cheeseburger pie tonight.

DryWhiteagainW · 26/01/2026 12:32

marking place. Thank you BIWI

BIWI · 26/01/2026 12:40

One of my new cook books for Christmas is Boustany, by. Sami Tamimi.

Palestinian by birth, he co-founded Ottolenghi. The recipes are vegetarian - many of them not for Bootcamp as they use a lot of pulses - and sound delicious.

I’m going to make one of them this week, Celeriac & tomato bake. This is the only link to it I could find, but if it turns out well I’ll post a photo

Hello new thread, and thanks BIWI!

Currently munching lunch at my desk (avo/prawns/mayo on top of rocket salad) and catching up.

Just a pound down this week, but I'm fine with that. I survived the cinema plus a takeaway curry yesterday - a very small bag of peanuts in the cinema (while DH troughed Maltesers beside me, the swine), and for dinner I had paneer shashlik with mushroom bhaji on the side, which was very tasty.

I dug out a pair of favourite trousers from a couple of years ago, and they are definitely too snug to wear, so there's work to be done. But so far I've not been tempted to stray. Trust the process, trust the process....

Pinkelefant · 26/01/2026 13:30

Thank you @BIWI and everyone who posted so far 😊
I am off today and had a really nice 5K+ brisk walk in a morning as it is finally dry day.
This is a very successful bootcamp for me in a sense that I feel like the constant urge to snack is gone,I KOKO in a zen mode 😉 and trust that the weigh loss will follow in a next couple of weeks. No loss recorded today but I was a bit less a couple of days ago so hopefully I'll see it settled by the end of this week.
Cottage cheese with radishes and fresh dill plus couple of hard boiled eggs with mayo for branch
Dinner will be Asian cabbage stir fry(diet doctor recipe)
