JustRosie yes that exactly it, have steak with extra veggies instead of chips or potatoes. With regards to cakes/sugar etc you need to come up with a plan that suits you. For example some people just say no cake at all (that's what I do during BC (mostly)) others can manage to have a bit and get on track.

You said that you haven't stopped eating since a coffee morning on Friday. If that is what sugar/carbs do to you then you need to think is it worth it? After you've been LCing for a while you no longer want to eat these things and they will taste far too sweet and you might find that they make you feel a bit sick....it can be very easy to fall off the LC wagon and start eating these things again though so you need to be careful.

I'd suggest trying, for the short 10 weeks of BC, to avoid cakes/sweets/sugars completely. There will always be another birthday in the future.

Sorry about the formatting, I just copied from the last spreadsheet. You are aiming for less that 3g/100g but you will see that some veg here is higher than that, you can have these as well but just be careful you don't have too much.

Thanks for the advice SayrraT. I think for me I will have to avoid sugar completely for bootcamp and see after that. I've low carbed before, lost weight really well for a few weeks then gone on a night out/to a party/had office cakes and fallen off the wagon.

Did really well in the January boot camp. Lost my mojo in the summer one, but am now determined to get sorted in time for Christmas. I actually began LCing today, then saw the new thread. Not got masses to lose, but aim to lose the 9lb that I have put back on since Jan BC plus another 1/2 stone. I am only 4'11 so my current weight is on the heavy side for me.

Fuck it, I'm in. Bootcamp failure veteran here, but determined to crack this low carb nut before I turn 40 next summer. Not sure about weighing yet, the scales were not kind to me last time I LC'ed but I was noticeably less wobbly, so I might swerve them altogether. We'll see...
