Hi all. I've boot camped before, but fell off the wagon spectacularly a year ago and it's been all about the excuses for the last few months - so I'm not waiting until January, I'm starting now! I'll follow the threads though if that's ok.

I wish i could start now, but going to stay with my veggie sister for new year, and although carbs dont feature too heavily (bil does attempt to low carb) its gonna be much easier to wait til i get back for the harder first few weeks. Then next time i visit i can be mid-plan and not having to carb-detox there will surely be easier :)

Beyond I'm off work with nothing to do but sit and eat. Might as well try get back in the swing of it.

I'm lucky to live near Britains biggest market and they've had some amazing post-christmas deals on meat today so I've just been and stocked up. only thing I couldn't seem to get was pork belly. :(

I'm permanent BC Apophenia so you aren't alone. Still a lot of us left on the continuation thread for the last BC if you want to pop over for a bit of support.

I'm back on the wagon good style today. I haven't gone totally ape over Christmas because I've been LC for so long now I just don't fancy a lot of stodge or sugar now but I have had a lot more nut-based stuff over the last couple of days and I woke in the night in agony with my joints. My hands were so sore this morning that I struggled to brush my hair and my teeth. Pain concentrates the mind far better than a number on the scale so today I'm strict BC and gallons of water. Having said that, I'm far from deprived given that I've just demolished scrambled eggs made with cream and butter and the remains of a pack of smoked salmon!

Some names I recognise on the list so far but some new ones that I look forward to getting to know.

Miffy, that's very kind.

Can I join too please? The last couple of months I've been constantly sick so unable to exercise and addicted to bread and sugar ... snug clothing has been retired to the wardrobe and loose clothing is feeling snug!

Hello - I will be in! Was doing hardcore bootcamp right up until Christmas but have fallen off the wagon rather heavily. In fact I am AMAZED by my stomach's capacity to eat chocolate continuously from dawn till dusk.

I am planning to go dairy free as well, I only have a bit left to lose and I really want to do it!

Ooh I'm up for this! I haven't gone crazy over Xmas but have had a few bits etc and would like to get on it properly. I was happy sticking at my weight on the last boot camp, however this time Id like to drop half a stone.

I'm in, I have been doing 5:2 and like it but always feel better when I don't eat many carbs so plan on seeing if this suits me. Might combine 5:2 if I can, will research whether that is a reasonable idea.

Managed to c&p on iPad by tapping 2x on word then dragging box down, it is possible but tricky!

Ps I have bootcamped before , was suzy moo, have renamed myself with a more positive sounding name, have found Xmas very hard, been with relatives, out of my routine, Ill relative, hospital visits over Xmas etc..., hoping to get home and back to normal by end of week.

This has disappeared from my 'threads I'm on'
