Can we have a Lone Parents' round up?

Where are you all?

I am in Leicestershire, and have 2 boys aged 6 and 3.

I thought about this last night, and really think that some of the 'end of tether' situations could be made a little less scary if we knew there was someone near by who understands.

If nobody is near you post your location anyway, maybe the people who live near you just haven't seen the thread yet. Or maybe they are thinking "Oh nobody else lives near me, won't bother posting"

spero (belatedly) Bristol is good as a single parent as it has enough of a green/hippie vibe. Bit like Brighton, but with employment. Schools are a big subject round here, CAT me if you want to find out more because you will want to apply as soon as you can.
