At what age should a child stop being made to watch her father weeing and pooing? My LO is almost 3 years old and is fully toilet trained (she can get on and off the toilet and do all the necessary things herself). During his supported visits to my home, he insists she goes into the toilet every time he needs to go and he allows her to watch him go both ways. He insists she uses the loo after him and stays in the room with her. My health visitor has said this is 'highly inappropriate' but my solicitors request for this to stop has failed to bring about any changes. I am really concerned about this. Am I over-reacting?

Eeek, I often take my DS (nearly 3) in the bathroom with me if I don't want him running all over the house waking everyone up. I shower in front of him and everything, often because there's not much getting around it.

Nothing wrong with that is there?

BintOfBohemia · 22/07/2009 17:53

oh, ok, re-read OP. I don't insist he does it if there's other people around to keep an eye on him, and I don't insist he goes after me...

Yes good luck, contact centre preliminarily, but ideally long term it might be better if he buggered orf, well depending on whether this is as sinister as it sounds or not - initially though you just need damage limitation strategies without jeopardising your case.

You sound v calm, I would be in bits dealing with a tw*t like this. Best of luck xx

have you spoken to your HV?

PurpleOne · 26/07/2009 04:19

This sounds really gross and needs a stop putting to now.

And why is he still shitting in YOUR toilet?

spookycharlotte121 · 26/07/2009 08:39

eww what a creep. I hope you manage to get this sorted. It sounds very stressful and he sounds very odd.
