would you try the online dating thing?
it's def.worth a try and the flirting will do you good

crackernut. Been there! I split up with my ds father when he was 2, and I was 38! seriously thought it was all over for me. But I did join a dating website, and like sawyer, kissed a lot of frogs, dated a few, made some lovely lifelong friends, and finally met my dp. Been together now for 2 years and its lovely.

Rather bizarrely the thing that helped me most was a weird encounter in pub! walked for a quick one after work, and lo and behold, there was a man I had been at uni with, and there had always been a little something there! Ended up having a wild and wonderful night of passion before he went back to his home in the far east.

what it did for me was to reignite my vavavoom, iyswim! and it was quite safe as I had no expectations of a future with him, just reminded me I was actually gorgeous and sexy and anyone who had the chance to get me was lucky!!!!

Oh I didn't notice this was active again. I am crackernut by the way.

It does still bother me that I might never meet anyone else, but I have kind of resigned myself to it now and so don't think about it as much.

Online dating isn't for me and I don't have much of a social life so chances are slim.

Plus tbh I think it would be too much hassle what with the kids and stuff, so i'll be staying as I am for the forseeable future.

I feel the same and don't feel able to even look until ds is older. Have been on my own since ds was born so used to it and find it really hard to imagine any other way.

Paws.... I had a small giggle to myself reading the story of you and a friend vying for the same attentions.

I have a similar friend, who always has men chasing after her even though she edges on psychotic at times and will sleep with their best mates!

madness...
