Just wanted to find out people's experiences really.

My ex has been contacted by CSA & has denied being the father Hmm

We now require a DNA so just wanted to find out a few things.

Good luck OP . If i could change my son's father I would do it in a heartbeat but I know even though he is an irresponsible man we are linked for life through our DS . I hate myself sometimes for making such a poor choice and letting ds down but I have decided not to think about it . Hopefully this situation doesn't make our sons bitter Flowers

If I could remove my exes DNA from our son, I'd have it done tomorrow!

I feel guilty for giving my DS a father like my ex whether he is a part of his life or not, however I intend to do a good enough job that my DS doesn't feel like he's missing out!

I've so much planned for us to do! So much for him to see and experience, I'm glad my ex won't be having him, so he won't take valuable time out of mine and my DS's activities!

Think of the positives xx

Aww very nice. It is nice because I have a close bond with my son and part of it is because I don't have to share him . Onwards and upwards xx

My samples were sent off today, so it's all done from my side.

Waiting on ex to have his and then for the results. Apparently it'll be another 2-3 weeks until the results are sent through.

Well done. They will write to you as soon as they receive his sample and let you know when to expect the results. I received both letters within 48hrs . They let me know they had received his sample on a Friday and I got the results in the post on Saturday. Hopefully he doesn't take as long as mine did xx

My son is now 17, 18 next week in full time education. His Dad stopped speaking to him well over a year ago. Now we're going through CMS. Hes decided hes not the Dad. His 2 weeks are up today to pay CellMark. I'll ring CMS to see if he made payment. I doubt he would have. All just to waste time. My son is heart broken. Ive also got the same worries as you with falsifying himself. Sending someone else etc. Trying to make me look bad. Best of luck to us all.

Best of luck to you @Claire2606 . If he's got any sense , he won't try it unless paying a fine or going to prison is better than paying for his son .

Claire2606 · 25/10/2019 12:25

Well he didnt pay for the test to be done. So payments have now started and hes paying double the amount he originally was when we done it between ourselves. Xx
