I don't know the details but I admire her for not jumping straight in to a new relationship. I doubt she's short of offers or opportunity.

I've been a lone parent 4 years now and I'm very proud of it. The lifestyle my dds have is down to me - good social life, positive role models, holidays, days out, activities and adequate clothes and toys, healthy lifestyle physically and emotionally. I have provided and not just in the financial sense - it's about much more than that.

I will be looking out for myleene's doc on tv.

She can't appreciate the nitty gritty of being a lp. She'll probably have a cleaner, nanny maybe and family who can help with childcare. I don't have that any more (death and them moving away). The first few months of being a lp were a piece of piss compared to it seven years on.

Didn't her career start when she was added to the Pop Idol group out of the blue at the very last minute, after all the other poor sods had been through auditions and selections and all sorts of shite?

My mum was left a single parent when my father died and she didn't 'own' it, she bloody got on with doing a marvellous job of bringing up the three of us on what she earned bashing a typewriter and a widow's pension - and tho I say it as shouldn't, we all turned out bloody well. But of course it's MK, isn't it, the first woman in the world to have to bring up her kids on her own.

I totally agree about her cashing in all aspects of her life.

I remember mentioning on a thread once, because I felt she did this during her divorce. I got absolutely slated

But perhaps she's the only single mother the Daily Mail can bring themselves to speak to.
