My soon to be ex H is suggesting £400 per month for 2 teenagers - is this reasonable ? He earns about £65000 per year and I earn about £22000

This makes me laugh really! (Sarcastically) What part of those arse holes thinks that their pittance warrants father-hood? My x thinks he is the perfect father just by turning up on time for his access, and payin his £196 a month. Never asked if son needs anything - clothes etc, takes me to court everytime the wind changes direction ...costing me money (last time it cost me £3,00 the last penny of my savings). Yet i know a man who has three kids, he gives his x wife money for them AND provides all their school clothes and asks what else do they need. I was brought up by my mother and although i speak to my real father, i now understand her annoyance and irritation when i say his name....he has never provided her with anything either, nor in my recent age 43 has he ever offered me help financially. I hate MEN!

Absolutely zilch here...shameful behaviour. Currently pursuing through the courts...but taking forever (since May 11). Arrears are now now in excess of ?5000. Luckily, I have ensured our dd is healthy, safe and well!

currently awaiting CSA contact about maintenance, etc...not holding my breath as I think it may take a while...I'm only 3 weeks into the application so not sure how long it may take to sort out
