I split up with my husband this week and I'm on my own with our DC who are 5 and 2.5. Due to his mental health he cannot have them unsupervised and so he will seem them at his mum and dad's house, where he is also living at the moment.

So. It is just me, really. What would be your best advice for me to make this work on my own. What do I need to think about?

Thank you, that is good advice.

That crash has come today - have just spoken to my husband's mother and because he is incoherent. It is so very sad and I am so very worried for him.

It is very sad, and his MH issues aren't going to dissolve overnight, I do feel for you. But at least at his parents he is safe and hopefully getting the therapy /help he needs to get well.

If he can see the kids at his parents it also means they all stay in touch without you worrying as to their safety, which is healthier for him and the kids and less stress for you.

Not sure if you are a huggy person but I'll leave one here if it would help Smile Llareggub
