Hello ladies,

Dusty just sent you a friend request. Have a good time at Pirate petes. We're not coming over to Portsmouth now as my FCs brother has come round to visit so don't have enough room in the car for everyone.

Taking it easy today. Not sure if we can make the 31st. Baby is going home that day and I'm not sure what time she is being picked up. Will try though would be nice to see you all.

dustycups · 26/08/2010 13:04

have accepted you!!! we didnt make it down to pirate petes dont wanna get wet again!

hope you can make it next week!

Oh dolphin I'm friends with dusty of FB can I friend request you too?

I'm probably not going to make Tuesday either dolphin as ds free and gonna have been to London the day before.

Does your dd1 do babysiting? Uni starts in Oct and sometimes theres lectures on a saturday - which my parents have ds for if they can. If they can't then I'm looking for someone to do the odd occasion and know teenagers like the extra cash! If dd1 does babysit how much does she charge?

dolphin13 · 26/08/2010 14:58

mumbar She only usually babysits for me her dad or her best friend who has 3 boys under 3.

She works as well as college but I will ask her. She is very good with children but never wants her own. Grin

Please do be friends with me.

dolphin13 · 26/08/2010 15:01

Lol at "teenager", she's 22 and would be most offended at being called a teenager.

Unlike me who would snog anyone who knocked a few years off my age. Wink

mumbar · 26/08/2010 15:31

oh sorry I was sure she said she was 19 Blush

Think I need my ears tested. Wink

She'll probably be working when lectures are on then but not to worry.

LOL at never wanting her own children. always great when you can give them back I think Grin

I got asked for ID the other week and the cashier apologised when I showed drivers licience and I said could you not have asked louder!!! I wanted the whole shop to hear. Wink

dolphin13 · 26/08/2010 16:03

Nobodies asked me for id for years Sad

I asked her she said she would as long as you could give her reasonable notice, and would you allow her to take him out to park ect.

LesbianMummy1 · 26/08/2010 16:29

Hi everybody finished work early and we off to circus.

Have sent you friend request dolphin. Hope baby going home is not to traumatic for you and you manage to get over.

Dusty will chat to you later tonight.

Mumbar hopefully you will find time to join us on tuesday

dustycups · 26/08/2010 16:55

dolphin tell you dd she right not to want kids, i was pregnant with number 3 at 22!!!!!

LM1 might be one later, popping up preschool to paint if rain stays off and my bf is here!!!
enjoy the circus!!!

OP posts:
mumbar · 26/08/2010 17:00

yeah she can take him out no problem - theres a park 10 meters from my front door now!!! They arrived yesterday, erected it and it was there when I got home Smile I thought of dd1 as I can see how good she is with dc's and seems responsible. Ask her how much she wants to be paid and I'll put her on my reserves list!! As I say usually my parents would help out or my brother if he's home for the weekend, one of my cousins etc but sometimes I just can't get anyone.

They are just laying the park flooring etc and then I'm going to let ds go over alone when theres other dc's from the street there. (so they can knock for me if need me)

Oh - theres a thread Wink

LM1 - enjoy the circus, I love the circus went a few times to the one in Southsea when I was a kid.

Dusty- do not blame you for not wanting to get wet again today - you must have been soaked when you got back yesterday. I was bloody freezing jjust walking back to the car.

dolphin13 · 26/08/2010 17:24

dusty her bf is 21 with 3 ds under 3. DD adores them but sees how hard it is. I hope you are ok seem a bit down on fb.

LM1 I'm fine with baby going I don't normally look after under 5s so finding it hard work and activity wise she doesn't really gel with my lot.
Hoping I get a break before the next one comes along. Heard today that there is a possible carer on the horizon for my other two. That will be a huge wrench. They have been with me a year and I really love them. Lots of tea, sympathy, choccy, valium, alcohol and tissues will be required then.

mumbar · 26/08/2010 17:58

Doplhin - we will be there for you if you need us - can't imagine how hard it is to build up a bond with a dc and then let them go.

3 dcs under 3 - that has got to be very hard work. I admire anyone who can cope with that.

I always wanted 6 dc's but life hasn't turned out like that.

Dusty - whats up ? Anything we can do to help.

Does our next met up need to be mums only?

dolphin13 · 26/08/2010 18:21

Actually think mums only would be nice sometime. It's hard to really chat or get terribly naughty and childish when LOs are around.

mumbar · 26/08/2010 19:14

I know what you mean dolphin. I find it hard to get adult time with only ds so can appreciate its much harder for mums with more than 1 dc.

DS in bed now so I'm gonna have a coffee and watch eastenders then do the ironing. Hes away for 3 days this weekend so I need to pack him some stuff. He's going to a campsite (caravan) so will need at least 2 sets of clothes a day and 'nice' stuff for the club in the evening.

dustycups · 26/08/2010 20:55

dolphin and mumbar-yeah im ok thanks, just suffer with spells of depression thanks to a really shit past! it hits me sometimes at night time!

a just mums meet up would be great! think its hard to get to people when they in 'mum' mode!!

OP posts:
LesbianMummy1 · 26/08/2010 23:38

circus was great but should have gone straight to bed. hope you all ok see you soon

dustycups · 27/08/2010 09:44
