What's up SPB?

i was ready to kill ds last night, ended up shouting at him instead

I went to bed with a migraine and the little sod kept waking me up every 1-2 hours, by 5am, I was at my wits end pleading with him to be quiet and go back to sleep!

DH then said "well why didn't you wake me and I would have settled him"

That's not the FUCKING POINT!! I was already AWAKE! The point was for ONCE I needed a good night's sleep and not be constantly woken up!

ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Head still hurts but fortunately not as bad as yesterday.

OK will stop ranting now.

StealthPolarBear · 20/11/2009 08:00

just tired, but not that bad your night sounds awful
any idea why he was waking so much?
btw we're just getting to the stage with DS where pleading actually works!!

Sounds like you both need some cake!

BouncingTurtle · 20/11/2009 17:18

Had a great time, lovely seeing you all!

StealthPolarBear · 20/11/2009 18:06

Yes it was, and I'm really of the Christmas do! If MIL's party finishes in time I might just pop in for a drink (don't think so though, it's miles away!!)

OP posts:
juneybean · 20/11/2009 19:08

It was great to see you all but since getting home I've felt really ill!! and yet the fish cakes were really nice

StealthPolarBear · 20/11/2009 19:32

oh no, ill in what way?

OP posts:
juneybean · 20/11/2009 19:36

just like a pain in my tummy sort of crampy across the top of my stomach.

it's easing up now and I did have a headache so maybe it was just nausea with my headache??

StealthPolarBear · 20/11/2009 20:32

hope you're over the worst, being ill is horrible

OP posts:
juneybean · 20/11/2009 20:35

Feeling much better now so I don't think it could have been the fishcakes! Maybe I just had a moment lol

As soon as xmas do is out of the way I intend to create 2010 durham meet up thread

StealthPolarBear · 20/11/2009 20:40

good idea

I liked that place, very child friendly (or was it just her??)

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 20/11/2009 20:41

meant to ask, did you make it back before your ticket expired??

OP posts:
juneybean · 20/11/2009 20:41

She was great with little D, think she said she had three of her own though.

Indith · 20/11/2009 20:41

Oh good, glad you are feeling better. Was lovely to have lunch and so nice to be without my children for a short time! I got home to a quiet house as they were both still napping and a lovely parcel containing my shiny new pulley clothes airer It is a little sad how excited it makes me.

juneybean · 20/11/2009 20:44

Think I was 2 minutes late lol but no clampers in sight lol.

LOL about the clothes pulley.

I definitely liked it in there though, great spot, well chosen Indith!

StealthPolarBear · 20/11/2009 20:45

yes, she did have three i think.

indith, that is sad, sorry!

well what are the chances A will go in her basket??

OP posts:
Indith · 20/11/2009 20:55

She was fab wasn't she. Although it did mean that D kept wanting to go behind the counter to see her, bless him

Glad you liked it, wouldn't want to ruin my cake credentials

SPB it is exciting so there. I don't have a tumble drier and I now have a load of washing up near my ceiling and out of the way instead of an airer inthe middle of my floor and stuff draped over the radiators.

dizzytrout · 20/11/2009 20:57

Just a little message to say it was great to meet you all, it did me wonders to get out and I had a lovely time, just what I needed. Looking forward to meeting again soon x

Juney I searched that e-mail and it claims that you are not on facebook but I share a name with Mrs Shrek and my surname is the one the table is booked under for the Christmas do.

Hm can't find you but I just realised that beginning of email is also my 'username' so if you affix it to the facebook url you should find me, display pic of a cat lol

Indith · 20/11/2009 21:40

Also wondering why I felt the need to give you cryptic clues for my first name.
