Hi everyone!

Seems like it has been pretty quiet on here. Would anyone like to come over to mine for a cuppa in two weeks time? Thursday 7th May??

It is quiet on here, isn't it.
You are being very organised
I think I can make it.

Did you get my email about the Gaggia? I gave in to DH getting a new projector, so perhaps he'll succumb to a new coffee machine .

Sawyer64 · 23/04/2009 22:19

I think we can make it too, Lucy.

lucyfer2000 · 24/04/2009 09:12

Aah the coffee machine of course!

yes i did get your email and then went off to check what it was and then forgot all about it!!

It is a Gaggia Evolution Espresso not a classic. Maybe you can look it up on Ebay or take a look when you come over on the 7th?

I'll wait until you've had a look at it and then I will bosh it on ebay!

Hello

We will have to be a maybe at the moment as it will depend on the trains!

They have closed our entire train line at the moment (even though they don't appear to be doing much) it's meant to reopen on the 5th I believe but I won't my hold my breath!

Roll on driving test

Sawyer64 · 25/04/2009 22:13

If I can give you a lift from the station Mrs M just let me know as I can use DH's carseat for your DD,if you could bring DS's with you.

Sawyer64 · 25/04/2009 22:16

Unless SP's "Bus " is running in Lucyfer's direction that morning.

Haven't heard much from SP lately.....
Not camping again is she?

MrsMagooo · 26/04/2009 10:33

Sawyer that would be great thankyou, will just depend on the trains

With any luck I'll know the day before if things are up & running again

Sawyer64 · 26/04/2009 12:37

Okdokey.

If they aren't,then maybe Angiewoo might feel up to driving,if DS isn't at playgroup maybe.

Would be nice to see her too.

MrsMagooo · 26/04/2009 17:29

Not really fair of me to ask Angiewoo for a lift all the time, bit mean.

I know her DS has nursery Thursday mornings too.

Sawyer64 · 26/04/2009 20:19

Fair enough.Bet you'll be able to repay the favour though very soon

MrsMagooo · 26/04/2009 21:40

With any luck - getting seriously fed up of not being to use the car, I have the driving bug lol!

JamInMyWellies · 26/04/2009 21:47

Oh now we might be able to make this one. Can I come with my 2 monsters. If its ok can someone email me address and time, ta.

Sawyer64 · 27/04/2009 13:32

Me too Lucyfer!

MissisBoot · 27/04/2009 15:40

Hi all - haven't seen you all for ages - thursday is no good for me but hope you are all well!

SparklyPrincess · 29/04/2009 15:37

I'm here!

Will be getting rained on in the lake district next thursday I'm afraid, so won't be able to make it.

MB - what day is good for you??

My free days have suddenly increased as DD1 has become a playschool refuser ... can't work out what the problem is.

Sawyer64 · 29/04/2009 16:59

Maybe she doesn't like the "changes",(in venue etc.)
Would it have unsettled her maybe?

Sawyer64 · 29/04/2009 17:16

My DD1 suddenly didn't like it one day,I assumed from the little she told me that she'd been "told off".I think in reality she'd been asked to stop doing something

I didn't mention it and she forgot about it. Depends what the problem is I guess.Sometimes not so simple.

MissisBoot · 29/04/2009 20:20

Fridays are my only real 'free' day although in reality it is only friday afternoon that we can do stuff as DD is so tired from her week at nursery that she can barely get off the sofa.

SP - I've started walking to pick dd up from nursery if its nice and stopping off at the park on the way back - I should call you to see if you want to join us!

Sorry to hear that DD1 isn't enjoying preschool - anything in particular do you think or just outright refusal?

SparklyPrincess · 29/04/2009 22:42

Definitely MB - let me know, we're away next week though.

I have no idea what the matter is - she keeps changing her story. It all started before they moved, but I don't think that's helping. They've suggested giving her a bit of a break but I'm not sure it'll help. Easter didn't.

She's a bit of a sensitive soul so I'm sure it's something really little that's upset her.

Sawyer64 · 29/04/2009 22:48

I think I'd agree with you SP,its difficult to get past whatevers bothering her,if she's "avoiding" it.

At least at this age their memories are fairly short,so something nice will hopefully happen at Playgroup to "erase" the bad memory soon.

Mung · 30/04/2009 08:13

Oh SP...I am so sorry to hear that DD didn't get back to enjoying pre-school. I hope she is OK. It must be really difficult for you as you cannot quite work out what the problem is and you must worry why she has gone from loving it to refusing.

Let me know if you are at a loose end one pre-school refusal day and we can do something together. I have been toying with the idea of swimming again at Leisure World...we could brave the 4 of them one morning!

We have our inaugral camping trip this weekend, at least you wont be under canvas in the Lakes.
