Hi everyone!

Seems like it has been pretty quiet on here. Would anyone like to come over to mine for a cuppa in two weeks time? Thursday 7th May??

I'll give you a buzz next time I'm on my way up!

Just had a thought - I think dd's nursery may have some space - they're really child centred and only have about 8 kiddies in each room so might be good for your dd - they do shorter day sessions for which you can use two of your vouchers.

Have fun in the lakes!

by the way sparkly. My DS was happy going to bluebells in Bergholt for a couple of months and then decided he was having none of it. It was too much effort to try to persuade him in the end. I'm going to try him at a different pre-school soon as I want him to get used to doing a morning or two a week before i have the baby. xx

Xx

lucyfer2000 · 04/05/2009 09:37

OK MrsMagoo - Good luck with the driving, start hasseling your instructor about having your test!! See you soon.

Oh by the way - strange change of subject but where did you get that shoe holder which is on the back of your toilet door?! Was rather struck by its usefulness when we came to your house and would like one for the cupboard in my hall!

Hi all

I've not been on for a while but just saw this and would have loved to have come along but unfortunately DS is at nursery on Thursday mornings so can't make it.

Promise I will host a coffee morning soon though. Hope you are all ok.

Mrs Magoo - by the way - you're always welcome of a lift if I can make it so you don't have to feel mean

xx

MrsMagooo · 04/05/2009 16:22

Lucyfer I believe we're doing another mock test this week so hopefully after that I shall be booking my test! The shoe rack was from Next a few years ago but you can get them here

Angiewoo must catch up for a cuppa, did you get my new number ok?

Xx

I'm sure everyone has different experiences, but I wouldn't buy anything from these people again.

I bought some Christmas gifts in October 2006,and due to having DD2 a few days later,I "forgot" to settle the invoice they sent me in November, which was due in December.

We moved in January, and the first week of January,I phoned to give them a change of address, and they said they'd send me a new invoice,as I'd mislaid it by then.

They sent it to our old address by the time we received it late January,it was a month overdue. The new invoice had 2 months interest added to it,which was nearly £50! I telephoned and wrote, their reply was if I didn't pay up immediately they'd add another month.

I'm sure no-one else would "forget" but in my defence I had a newborn and had just moved!

MrsMagooo · 05/05/2009 09:37

I've not bought from them before, I just googled it & that was one of the few that were in the UK

Lucyfer just spotted there is one in Argos not wooden but don't know if you wanted wooden or not?

purpleflower · 05/05/2009 09:45

Sorry, It's all been a bit mad here so I haven't been able to get on. I'm not going to be able to make it this week, have a good time

Saz126 · 05/05/2009 13:32

Congratulations Lucyfer! I hope you are feeling well.

I will try to make it Thursday, still have directions I think from last time, but will email you if I can't find them.

lucyfer2000 · 05/05/2009 20:41

Thanks MrsMagoo! shall hopefully be tidying up my hallway soon!

Hope you can make it Saz.

Jam - shall send you an email.

Sawyer - i'll never find your email, i get about a million junk ones a day. can you email me again?

Hope all is ok Purpleflower - hopefully catch up soon.

Look forward to seeing all of the rest of you on Thursday!

xx

Lucyfer, I have your address but can you remind me of the bus number that goes from Colchester North?

Saz126 · 06/05/2009 14:04

Is OK, have just searched and found timetable, hope to see you tomorrow.

JamInMyWellies · 06/05/2009 22:33

Hi what time so you want us tom?

Sawyer64 · 06/05/2009 22:52

If Lucy doesn't see this, its usually 10.00am -ish onwards.

Mung · 07/05/2009 14:28

Thanks for today. I ended up getting totally lost trying to get home the 'back route' and decided to stop off for lunch on the way home.

Hope to see you all soon.

Sawyer64 · 07/05/2009 14:49

Yes thanks Lucy.

Saz126 · 07/05/2009 18:39

Yes, thank you from us too. Good to meet you JIMW. I left a bag on the bus and had to run after it...luckily someone noticed and stopped the bus for me. Not a pretty sight, large pregnant woman running! Hope to catch up with you all soon.

Mung · 07/05/2009 19:10

Oh Saz poor you...at least the bus stopped for you.

Saz126 · 08/05/2009 10:17

DS thought it was funny!

Sawyer64 · 08/05/2009 10:54

Oh so the lady from White Notley was JIMW (didn't like to ask

lucyfer2000 · 08/05/2009 10:56

It was really lovely seeing everyone yesterday and great to meet you jam.

Mung i'm so sorry you got lost on the way home - I feel completely responsible for crap directions! I knew I have should have drawn a little map of how i get on to the A12, would have been much better than my rubbish attempt at left/rights and road names!

Glad you got your bag OK Saz! sounds like you would have needed a serious rest in the afternoon!!
