Hi RGPargy. My part-time hours are sorted now and I work from home on Mondays and Thursdays, and am in the office the rest of the week. Do you fancy trying to meet up one Friday lunchtime? Can do the 20th or most Fridays from 3rd April. Let me know if you still fancy it!

RGPArgy and the other mums - does anyone fancy meeting up one Monday afternoon somewhere in Rainham/Gillingham/Chatham/Rochester? Myself and DD are free from 1pm onwards.

Yes there is. Is there really loads of Me Carriers???? It should be the only one that comes up with the surname Simpson.

Marthasmama · 08/04/2009 21:08

It's not working is it?! It used to come up with me!!! Are you on the London network?

spursmummy · 08/04/2009 21:09

Nope, looks like I'm rubbish at finding people too Any luck finding me yet?

How about we arrange another tea and cake afternoon on here with RGPargy, then all swap email addresses and find each other on FB that way!!

Right. I've got an idea.... I'll change my profile picture so it is the same as the first one on my profile on here. So check my MN photos, then look on FB - Michelle Simpson, London Network, picture of lovely baby girl - that's me!!!!

spursmummy · 08/04/2009 21:23

Bingo!!

Confirmed you. That was easy ! I was looking on the London network. there were loads with no pistures so I was checking the details - no too old, no not married, no too young !

spursmummy · 08/04/2009 21:32

Hello

Marthasmama · 13/04/2009 00:07

Hello! Are you away raving it up?

RGPargy · 13/04/2009 00:16

Nope, i'm at home! DP and both his parents came down with the same bug DD had and have been ill all weekend so unfortunately that ruled out DP being up for raving and it also ruled out MIL for being capable of looking after DD. Oh well, there's always next time.

Marthasmama · 13/04/2009 00:20

Oh no! You were so looking forward to it as well! I'm going to see Blur in July, I'm not up for it at the moment but hopefully will be nearer the time. I feel too old these days. I like a nice cup of tea at home and a good film!

RGPargy · 13/04/2009 20:53

lol!! You'll absolutely love it, dont worry. Sometimes you have to make a real effort to realise that you enjoy having fun after all!

Marthasmama · 13/04/2009 20:56

Are either of you planning on more kiddies?

RGPargy · 13/04/2009 21:00

DP says he "doesn't feel the need to have another baby" at the moment but said that "we" could review the situation in, say, a year. I think i'd like another (last) baby before i finally have to hang up my ovaries, but then having said that, when i am up at stupid o'clock in the morning with DD who wont go back to sleep i always tell myself "Never Again!".

Marthasmama · 13/04/2009 21:04

Same here C. DH and I agree, one more, in about two years. M still doesn't sleep much but she is so much fun we want one more. I have gone from being the least maternal woman in the world to adoring babies!

spursmummy · 14/04/2009 12:47

We're not. Occasionally I think it might be nice to have another one, but having K has put dh right off having another (3 months no sleep, milk intolerance to deal with, lives generally turned upside down and moving down here, and he can't get to watch Liverpool play as much as he used to ). When I was younger I always envisaged having two or three, I seem to have got less maternal since I had her! DH is definitely NOT a baby worshipper and would probably leg it back to the north west if I got pregnant again. I have thought about adoption but only in a very vague way, not sure I like the idea of K being an only child as the only children I knew were awful!!

BTW, it's crap being back in work - I want it to be Easter again! (only without the in-laws this time round).
