Hi RGPargy. My part-time hours are sorted now and I work from home on Mondays and Thursdays, and am in the office the rest of the week. Do you fancy trying to meet up one Friday lunchtime? Can do the 20th or most Fridays from 3rd April. Let me know if you still fancy it!

RGPArgy and the other mums - does anyone fancy meeting up one Monday afternoon somewhere in Rainham/Gillingham/Chatham/Rochester? Myself and DD are free from 1pm onwards.

We can still meet there, and if it's shut there's a garden centre along the A2 not far from Gore Farm which does nice cakes too

Sorted.

Marthasmama · 06/04/2009 10:49

Oh bollocks I thought it was only in Winter that it was closed.....

Marthasmama · 06/04/2009 10:59

Hurrah! Dh called them, they are open. The monday thing is old news. Game on ladies.

spursmummy · 06/04/2009 11:22

w00t!!

spursmummy · 06/04/2009 18:51

That was a lovely afternoon, thanks to you both. Shall we do a tea and cake tour of the Medway towns on Monday afternoons?!

Sounds like a plan!!! I had a lovely time too. Funny how time just disappeared....

RGPargy · 06/04/2009 21:01

Oh that deffo sounds like a plan - especially if they all serve cake the size of the slab slice i had today!

I had a lovely afternoon, ladies. Thank you so much! So sorry i was late - damn those last minute poos!! (DD, not me!).

Marthasmama · 06/04/2009 21:46

Ah, last minute poos. I've been late for some many dr's appointments because of exploding poos! If I ever manage to tidy up my shitheap house I'll have to do some baking and you can come round have as many slabs slices of cake you want!!!

RGPargy · 06/04/2009 22:38

Now that sounds like a plan!!! Of course that means i'll have to reciprocate, which also means i'll have to also tidy up my shithole lovely house.

In the meantime, we will deffo have to do lunch! I would say Friday but it's bank holiday, so maybe next week instead. Nothing like a lovely glass of vino and some grub on a Friday lunchtime.

Marthasmama · 06/04/2009 22:42

Ah but not me as I'm a lazy fully time mummy at the mo. Have fun though ladies and I really miss those long pub lunches in London

RGPargy · 06/04/2009 23:13

Such a shame, but i'd much rather be at home with my little buggerbum than at work in yucky London!!!

RGPargy · 07/04/2009 09:36

Everyone's DDs ok? Ellie was throwing up in her cot last night and was sick again this morning. Hope your DDs are ok!

Marthasmama · 07/04/2009 09:50

Oh dear poor Ellie. DD is fine, well she has a terrible cold but otherwise fine. I think there is a tummy bug going round at the moment. Always seems to happen at the change of seasons. Hope she's ok. She was adorable with the 'more'. Such a cutie.

RGPargy · 07/04/2009 13:48

Thanx M. She's perked up alot since last night and is currently having a nap in her cot (instead of in a wrap on my back!) so i get to have a bit of a break this afternoon.

Marthasmama · 07/04/2009 13:53

M is asleep on my lap as she was a nightmare last night and won't sleep anywhere except on me during the day. Glad E is feeling better now. I hate vomit!!

spursmummy · 07/04/2009 18:06

Hello again to both of you! Sorry to hear Ellie wasn't well, I hope she's back to normal now. Kate was fine after her cake extravaganza and she slept really well, I think her mad half hour sugar rush did the trick.

M, don't worry about the state of your house; I also hate housework and tidying, our house is half-decorated and we've too much stuff having moved from a bigger house into our little one. Slabs of cake anywhere are good for me!!

Hope you both have a better night tonight.

M - Hope M sleeps better for you tonight!

I really didn't notice Kate having a sugar rush lol. She got fidgety but that's as far as i noticed anyway!

Housework (or lack of it) really doesn't bother me either - i dont do much of it myself!

A comfy chair, a mug of tea and a slab of cake will see me as happy as Larry.

Marthasmama · 08/04/2009 17:25

M was a good girl last night! Will her to be a good girl for me again tonight please, she obviously listens to you!!!

Marthasmama · 08/04/2009 18:12

Are you both on FB? Just another way to stay in touch and I need to have more friends than DH

spursmummy · 08/04/2009 20:37

I am, I've sent you my proper name by private message. My current photo is a picture of Kate - eating cake She's just like her mummy!

Ooh crikey, didn't realise I had to pay for that! Not good when I'm supposed to be on an economy drive and it's the middle of the month. My surname is Nuttall, let me know if you can't remember my first name!

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 08/04/2009 20:52

I'm easy to find under my maiden name - Carrier. My first name's a Beatle's song, My Belle in case you've forgotten. I always seem to fail to find people on FB so giving you my details means we might have a chance!!!

spursmummy · 08/04/2009 21:02

Have you got a picture on your profile? There are quite a few people with your name on FB and I'm struggling.
