Night out in Tunbridge Wells

I posted this on the Meet-ups topic a while ago and there has been a bit of interest from Bulhar, Ingles2, KittyTN, Blondshavemorefun & All4theKids.

So was wondering if there were any other MNers in the Tunbridge Wells area who would like to meet up one evening for drinks/meal etc?? Thinking Jan time.....what do you think?

snow depending - i will be there - snowed in at moment -but hopefully can escape in 12days time

OK - I have booked a table in the name of 'Mumsnet' (to much smirking down the phone - or maybe I'm just paranoid!), for 8 of us on the 13th at Lava.

Hope you can all make it!

Thanks SouthernMeerkat.....we're due some more snow this weekend....really hoping that I won't have to battle into work on Thursday!

I'm 33 and my little chap has just turned 6 months. But am back at work 1 / 2 days a week and attempting to work a bit from home. Am just starting to get out and about a bit more and rebuild a social life so looking forward to meeting you all on the 13th!

Oh yes HCB, that would have been helpful to tell you all wouldn't it!!

Have booked the table for 8pm.

I will have a red nose if the temperature continues to be around freezing, but I won't be putting an additional one on, no!

indeed - dont want to be snowed in at work again, plus I will be coming from a 48hr proxy parent job and she is about 20mins the other side of tunbridge wells - down a country lane in the middle of nowhere

HATE snow- its cold and horrible!!!

I liked in on Monday but am getting thoroughly sick of it now. I'm supposed to be visiting friends in Southampton this weekend so it better not bloody snow any more! I can't wait to be able to walk on paths/pavements/roads at a sensible speed again...

OK - hope everyone has remembered that we're meeting up tomorrow night, and that I'm not going to be sitting on my own looking like I've been stood up for a pre-Valentine's date!!!

So hope to see all/some/most of those who said they'd make it, at Lava at 8pm tomorrow. If you know that you are definitely NOT coming, can you let me know so I can let Lava know.

waves from deepest kent - well actually sussex (i think)

Im PP for one of my regular famillies - have baby of 5mth and 3yr at moment - been here since last night and NEED adult company and a large glass of wine

Wow I've just realised that red nose day is in fact a whole month away, on the 13th of MARCH, not february! Silly me.

Alright alright. I probably will.

Wish I could have a drink though. Stupid non-existent public transport and expensive taxis... grumble grumble...

It's snowing here too but I don't think it will settle, it's too wet.

i am in sussex at moment - maybe i could pick you up on route?

though you would have to get a taxi home as im going home to tonbridge - so completley opposite direction
