Thought I would see if we can squeeze in a meet before Xmas

Would anyone like to come over either Thursday or Friday of next week?

I can do either so we can go with the majority

Hi MrsM, I can't do either unfortunately, next week is so busy and I still haven't done my xmas shopping! Panic! Am most upset to be missing cake. Hope to catch up with you all in the New Year.

Saz - have you seen my posting - have a bike and some fireman sam and postmen pat goodies - all in good nick that would be great pressies for DS - much cheaper than the shops. you don't have to go far and I do coffee and cake?

Have somne clothes for you too actually (well DS)- am in most of the week - have hospital op Friday but other than that can't go out at all!

Hi mrsmagoo - would love to come along but it is a bit far for me to get to at the moment because i have to be back in Colchester at lunch time to pick up my DD from school. Don't trust myself not to be late if i attempt a run to Frinton!

Next time you offer i'm sure i;ll be up for it though - as DD will be full time at school! See you Friday though xx

Thanks mrs M - unfortunately we cant make it - DH has some time off and we are doing 'Family fun' we WILL have fun - it has been scheduled!!!

19th - some of DS's baby-hood friends here in the morning, 2 year health check and DS's nursery Christmas play in the afternoon

Are you actually getting a 2 year check Jently? I just got a questionaireIt seems like all the develpmental "tests" are becoming unnecessary to do face-to-face these days.Not sure thats such a great idea IMO.

I could walk over to you about 9.30am ish?Complete with Carseat?

Presuming you are unlocking your door at 10.00am ish MrsM? (Promise not to leave any "presents" on the doorstep this time )

Door will be open from 5am as that's when DS likes to get me out of bed, of course I'm sure you'd rather be sleeping then

Yes DD1 did in Chelmsford,but just recently it seems in the Colchester area at least,its been done by questionaire.
Which is fine if you have no worries I guess but I think its important for the H.V to "meet" all these DC's at intervals,if only to keep tabs on some of the "at risk" DC's,but maybe they automatically see these anyway.
But what happens to the "new" ones,and the stressed out mums,who don't bother to "ask" for help and support???
Sorry! rant over,combining my "professional"(?) views with personal ones there I think

I understand where you're coming from Sawyer I think tbh the only reason I have so many visits from my HV is due to having PND with DD & they are concerned I'm getting it again, which I'm not I'm just in serious need of sleep lol!!

I said to the HV (I don't really like my one) you have 4 hours good sleep a night on average & see how weepy you get
