Evening, all, and how are you doing? We spent a lovely day at Kew and I'm now having a cheeky glass of wine to ease myself into the evening. Would anyone like to meet up this week? Forecast looks reasonable and so I expect we'll be back at Kew at least once, maybe twice this week! Susie - how are things?

Hello! Grr, Thurs morning is the one morning that we can't make! Typical. Am only having a small glass of wine, if that makes you feel any better Choccie, I feel, gives a smilar effect of well-being - if not better! In fact I've just demolished a choco-lebeinz biccy as well!

I plan to be out and about as much as possible this week, as no rain forecast but I don't plan on going far from home tbh

have been watching silly movies lately 'The Kingdom' American view of middle east problems with attractive cast. lots of explosions, and good looking Arab actors enjoyed it

and '300' fantastic silly romp about Spartans cue lots of muscled half naked men fighting about the place lots of gore, what's not to like[?

morning all, we watched Juno last night whilst stuffing Indian take away.

Great weekend despite the pouring rain on Friday. Was good fun nosing around loads of other vans. H bought new curtains for the bus, he was never so interested or picky over home decor

I am even more keen to get my own so the hunt will step up a bit now.

dd was very good and even appeared on the even video as she rocked out to the band on Friday night LOL.

As usual, the post weekend anti-climax has hit and the existential questions of what/where/how/why bother are chasing themselves around my head.

R4 has informed me of the Lehman, Merril and AIG crisis this morning.

Time to put your cash under your mattress? Not sure.

Time to run to the hills, get off the grid and bail out to a self sustaining lifestyle somewhere stunning and remote? Probably!

Just missed this - how awful for KC - I'm free this week - dh is meant to be coming home early so I can go over and visit later on if needs be. Also, I'm able to come over and help out with ds.

She probably hasn't been admitted yet - probably stuck in A&E or she could be at Ealing?
