Oooh can I come too? 1DS aged 22mths (who will be at childminders) and 1DD age 6 weeks!

That cafe is a regular haunt anyway.. despite the waitress who seems to absolutely hate people with kids!

Ready4anotherCoffee · 09/09/2008 20:22

Hello all, lovely to meet you today! I'm on facebook, just search for 'July 2008 Mumsnet babies'and I'm there, Justine G-S (I created the group so am on the first page!)

Was nice to meet everyone.

ChristinaRobinson · 23/09/2008 02:01

lovely to meet you all. we must do it again sometime.

MamaHobgoblin · 28/09/2008 20:37

Looks like I just missed a local meet-up! Yet another Mner who lives within a walk of the Waterfront cafe (I live in Benson - blimey, how many of us are there?). Does anyone fancy another local coffee at all?

FfreckleFface · 28/09/2008 23:03

It was lovely to meet you all. I'm up for another meet up at the Waterfront. Where are you, MHG? In the village? We live on the RAF camp.

Goldberry · 29/09/2008 11:20

Hi. Also up for another meet up - Benson's not as far from me as I thought, so Waterfront would be good. MamaHobgoblin, just sneaked a peek at your profile - we seem to share some sci-fi/fantasy enthusiasms. Not at all geeky of course!

MamaHobgoblin · 29/09/2008 18:18

Goldberry - Hmm, must be something peculiar about women who spend a lot of time online or something...

Am fully paid-up geek and proud of it! I just went to the Waterfront with a friend this afternoon, and was eyeing up other likely-looking mums, wondering if they were Mners!

Well, whenever anyone else wants to meet up, I should be up for it!

ChristinaRobinson · 30/09/2008 01:00

Hello

Another meet up sounds good to me... how about Tuesday 7th October at 10:00am. the time seemed to work well with all last time?

Goldberry · 30/09/2008 14:23

Tuesday's good for me. Anyone else?

MamaHobgoblin · 01/10/2008 14:29

I can be there! Waterfront cafe again? I'll be bringing ds.

Freckleface - we're up at the Ewelme end of the village, under the flightpath of the helicopters!

MamaHobgoblin · 05/10/2008 18:23

Are people still on for tuesday, Riverfront Cafe, at 10? I haven't met any of you yet so I don't know who I'm looking for! (There are often a few mother and baby groups there.) My DS has lots of dark brown hair, and I have shoulder length, blondeish hair and may be yawning!

minniemummy · 05/10/2008 21:51

Alas can't make it this time but I have bookmarked this thread so will keep an eye out for the next one... definitely want to meet up again!

ChristinaRobinson · 05/10/2008 22:14

Hi MamaHobgoblin

I have pictures in my profile. i will see you Tuesday

FfreckleFface · 06/10/2008 12:49

I'll be there tomorrow! Looking forward to it.

Goldberry · 06/10/2008 13:45

I'll be there too, with surprisingly bald 6 month old DS, prob in his blue Cosatto buggy. I've got mid-length light brown hair with decidedly fading and growing-out highlights, probably tied back.See you there.

MamaHobgoblin · 06/10/2008 21:53

Oh dear. DS is running a huge and horrible fever, we didn't get more than 4 hours sleep last night and looks as if it's going to be another bad one tonight. Unless he improves, it looks as if I won't be able to come. It's just a cold, but a nasty one and he's never been this hot before. (frets) GP said it was ok, just keep on dosing him up...

If I can't come, I'd love to come to the next local meetup... :-)

FfreckleFface · 08/10/2008 13:00

Hope he is better MamaHobgoblin. Sorry to have missed you.

Goldberry · 08/10/2008 19:42

Sorry you couldn't make it MamaHobgoblin - hope your DS is feeling better now. Everyone seems to have a cold at the moment - we are being kept awake by DS's hacking cough. Speaking of which, I think I hear coughing and wailing (trudges upstairs again...)

MamaHobgoblin · 10/10/2008 12:55

Hello! We had to take DS to the Abingdon out-of-hours place monday night (well, 4am) with a fever of 40.1! He's a lot better now (but now I've got it!) but it was wretched while it lasted.. I'll keep an eye on this thread for any more meet-ups, and sorry to miss you all!

Ready4anotherCoffee · 16/10/2008 00:22

Oh bother, I missed it

Am up for another meet up if you all are.

Hope everyones colds are getting better, sorry you had to visit my 2nd home Mamahobgoblin, they are good in there though

FfreckleFface · 19/10/2008 00:38

Is anyone around on Thurs this week? Would be nice to meet you, MH, as it sounds as though your little boy and little Ff are around the same age (Ff was born 21/02). I regularly tramp about the Benson/Ewelme countryside with Boydog and Girldog, so if you like country walks let me know. Otherwise, Waterfront Cafe is a great meeting place - anyone about on Thurs?
