I live about 10 miles from Bath with 14 month old ds. Would love to meet up with any MNers in the vicinity - I can do Bath, Wiltshire or Somerset. By the way - Dillinger, hope all went well with your new arrival!

Dark brown hair, red Phil & Teds, 2 blond DSs, 2.7 and 0.7, harrassed expression and bags under eyes

May have to leave early, as DS1 is going through a truly maddening phase of pushing other children, and I am trying to deal with it by threatening to leave and then having to follow up on it when he takes absolutely no notice. Sigh. So may only be there 5 minutes...

fluffydog · 30/09/2008 13:12

It is now lunch time and guess what I have just remembered we were meeting up. I guess that is what pregnancy does to you - I knew I should have written it on the calendar as soon as we fixed a date. Sorry everyone.

MogTheForgetfulCat · 30/09/2008 15:02

No worries, fluffydog - we're going to have another one, as I was late and then spent half the time in the loo, as DS1 is just potty-trained and absolutely thrilled with using the loo when we are out and about . Also, when he wasn't in the loo, he was on the rampage, so there was a lot of child herding and not enough chat!

sazzerbear · 30/09/2008 15:17

Ditto, my ds was all over the place, mainly trying to escape out of the front door so snippets of conversation only! Great to meet you Mog and Zaza - definitely have to organise another catch up soon!

Great to meet you too, sazzer - your DS is gorgeous!

And zaza, I'm so sorry DS1 made your little girl cry , he is a total pain with the pushing thing at the moment.

Zazacat · 30/09/2008 16:35

It was so lovely to meet both of you, too and your lovely boys!

Don't worry about my little girl, Mog, she was being tired and over emotional. She is a drama queen! And well used to little boys.

Look forward to another meet up soon.

Zazacat · 22/10/2008 19:30

Hi everyone! Hope you are all ok? Anybody up for a meet up in November, maybe after half term is over?

dillinger · 23/10/2008 14:55

Sorry completely slipped my mind! Glad to hear you all had a good time though!

fluffydog · 23/10/2008 19:32

That sounds good to me - since I missed the last one. When we have settled on a date I will put it on the calendar straight away.

MogTheForgetfulCat · 24/10/2008 14:56

I'm up for a meet up in November! Can't do 13th, though - job interview for part-time position, yay!

sazzerbear · 24/10/2008 21:36

Count me in, what dates suit everyone? Good luck with the interview Mog!!

OP posts:
Zazacat · 25/10/2008 19:47

Friday mornings are mostly better for me, but I can usually escape other mornings.

Well done on getting interview Mog! And when's your baby actually due, fluffydog?

fluffydog · 25/10/2008 21:32

Baby is due December 19th, so should be able to make a November meet up.

Mornings are better for me as I get tired by the afternoon.

MogTheForgetfulCat · 27/10/2008 14:59

I have a slight preference for Mon/Tues mornings as DS1 in nursery and I can just bring DS2, who is far less trouble (for now ). But can do other days, too, if they suit better...

Zazacat · 27/10/2008 16:19

Shall we go for a Mon or Tues morning then? Anybody got any preferences which one? X

fluffydog · 27/10/2008 21:36

Monday would be better for me but I don't mind either way really.

sazzerbear · 30/10/2008 14:03

Mondays good for me apart from 10th, what about 3rd or 17th Nov - any good?

OP posts:
fluffydog · 31/10/2008 19:30

Either of those are fine for me.

Zazacat · 31/10/2008 21:54

Think either should be ok for me as well.

sazzerbear · 01/11/2008 14:48

Why don't we go for Monday 17th Nov then to give everyone a bit of notice? It will then also be quite festive! Any other MNers out there who want to join us?!!

OP posts:
fluffydog · 02/11/2008 19:22

17th sounds good. What time and where?

sazzerbear · 02/11/2008 20:49

Shall we meet again at the Egg cafe behind the Theatre Royal? They have stuff for the kids to do and it's pretty laid back (as well as yummy cakes!)

OP posts:
Zazacat · 03/11/2008 13:24

Sounds good! See you on 17th.

MogTheForgetfulCat · 03/11/2008 14:58

Yes, 17th great for me - see you there!

dillinger · 03/11/2008 16:22

I will try, mondays are usually a hard day for me so will either be a) just what I need, or b) not a good idea lol

What kind of time are you thinking? Im better in the mornings
