I live about 10 miles from Bath with 14 month old ds. Would love to meet up with any MNers in the vicinity - I can do Bath, Wiltshire or Somerset. By the way - Dillinger, hope all went well with your new arrival!

fluffydog · 01/08/2008 17:56

Well i am in Somerset but Bath is quite a way in the train plus my youngest starts school in September!
Maybe a meet up in one of the school holidays some time too?

dillinger · 01/08/2008 21:00

Id be cool with that tortoise, my weeks are the same all year round lol Ds goes to nursery on a thurs morning though so couldnt do then.

sazzerbear · 03/08/2008 13:17

Is a week day apart from Thursday good for everyone then? What about one of the Tuesdays in Sept? Let's get a date booked.
Fluffydog - I don't get out much either, looking forward to a grown up playdate LOL!
Tortoise - no problem about a school holiday meet, hope this is just the start of many more MN meets!

Any week day OK for me - DS1 in nursery Mon/Tues mornings, but can pull him out no problem. Or just bring DS2 - less trouble

Zazacat · 11/08/2008 16:24

Hi there, I'm in Bath and would love to meet up. Tuesday mornings should be good for me in September. My oldest dd starts school in September (scary!) so would just have my youngest dd who is 3 in November. Alex park is good for me but can drive elsewhere too.

loobyt · 27/08/2008 16:19

Hi, I'm new to this tread but live just outside of Bath and would love to meet some local mums. My DS is 6 months old. Any day/location is fine with me!

sazzerbear · 28/08/2008 19:50

What about a Tuesday morning say 23rd or 30th Sept then?

OP posts:
Zazacat · 29/08/2008 17:54

Don't think I'll be able to do 23rd so 30th is best for me.

loobyt · 01/09/2008 07:29

i can do 30th too.

sazzerbear · 01/09/2008 13:10

30th it is then, any more MNers want to join us? Lookinhg forward to it, will finalise arrangements nearer the time

OP posts:
MogTheForgetfulCat · 03/09/2008 22:03

I can do 30th!

mollyollymummy · 08/09/2008 20:56

Hi I live near to Bath and would love a meet-up with other MNers, DD will be 3 in a couple of weeks. What about meeting in tne EGG cafe?

sazzerbear · 09/09/2008 09:03

That sounds good, do they have anything to keep kids amused? Have 16 month ds who will not sit still for too long!

OP posts:
MogTheForgetfulCat · 13/09/2008 15:29

Yes, Egg cafe good for kids - little kids in particular. Has play area with toys (wheelybug, rocking horse, car track thingy, puppets, some books) and is also v tolerant of them just charging around and trying to climb up the tall stools. Much better than a normal cafe for that - no thinking, "oh, I mustn't let them wander about, it'll annoy the other customers" - yay!

My DS1 (2.6) likes it v much (as long as he can commandeer the wheelybug...), and I can just put DS2 (6 months) down in a quiet corner and he'll crawl around and try to play with the spotlights in the floor.

On a Tuesday not in school hols it shouldn't be too busy. And they do the most amazingly calorific cakes! Good for bf'ing, too - there's always someone else with their boobs out

sazzerbear · 15/09/2008 19:36

Sounds like paradise!!! I can't wait!

sazzerbear · 23/09/2008 20:01

Calling all local MNers!! Reminder - Tuesday 30th September is nearly upon us for our Egg rendevous, what time shall we all meet?

OP posts:
MogTheForgetfulCat · 24/09/2008 14:29

I can do 10.30ish? Will bring only DS2, so need to leave around 12 to pick up DS1 from nursery

fluffydog · 24/09/2008 21:09

Can someone tell me where exactly Egg is?

Thanks

sazzerbear · 25/09/2008 15:36

The Egg is at the back of the Theatre Royal

OP posts:
Zazacat · 28/09/2008 19:11

So, how are we going to recognize eachother??

sazzerbear · 29/09/2008 14:51

I have a curly blonde bob and will have a silver bag plus red maclaren buggy (plus toddler!) , what about the other MNers?

OP posts:
Zazacat · 29/09/2008 15:01

Dark brown hair and glasses, grey silver cross buggy, and 2 blond dds, 3 and 5.
