Hi there.We have just moved to Milngavie ( myself, husband and two girls aged 7 & 5 yrs ) from the Cambridge area. It's day two of being here and the children are driving me bonkers already and I was thinking how lovely it would be to meet up with another mum.If anyone would like to meet for coffee,that would be fab x

I know this is a bit shameless, but a great way to meet lots of mums near you is to become a Mumsnet Local Ambassador (prettybird is the Local Ambassador for the south side).

It involves organising regular meet ups in your area, and we don't currently have anyone doing it in north Glasgow. Here's some detail about other Local Ambassadors' experiences.

Hi babber. I have just moved to Bearsden (from London via St Louis!) and am in the same position as you! I have DTs, age 7 and DD aged 5. I am bored and going stir crazy so could do with a meet up too! Any one please let me know if you are interested in meeting up! Hope you have settled in a bit by now!
