NewtoCambridge · 27/02/2014 21:02

I'm in too (also a Kindle reader)

LocalEditorCambridge · 28/02/2014 10:04

This is great. I've emailed MNHQ book club to see if we can get any tie-ins for our first book choice.

I reckon monthly meetings where we can drink wine discuss the book?

Message from MNHQ Smile

You've just missed our giveaway for March book of the month Harvest but we'll keep you updated for future giveaways/book club stuff

Shall we start with Sisterland? There's a webchat in the offing and we can then meet and talk about it ourselves in a few weeks?

Looks interesting. I've not read a book in far too long.
Will this be an evening thing?

NekoKutsu · 03/03/2014 15:15

Ooh sounds fun :)

NewtoCambridge · 06/03/2014 19:50

Have we got a time and date yet?

StrawberriesInTheSun · 06/03/2014 19:52

Sounds fab!! Can't do evenings due to bf DS to sleep, but marking place in case there are ever any weekend afternoon meet ups Smile

MillieRoad · 06/03/2014 19:58

I am interested too! I have read the web chat about Sisterland though so I might skip the first one as I read the spoilers. Oops.

LocalEditorCambridge · 11/03/2014 20:47

When suits people - were most able to do weekday evenings - I don't want to miss commuters or people with small babies.

I couldn't do during the day unless it was weekends?

This would be a once a month thing I reckon.

Was I fool to link that webchat? Blush

LocalEditorCambridge · 13/04/2014 13:12

Great - how does that week look to everyone else?

I'm off to talk to the owner of Club12A to see if this is a venue we could use every month / other month for a get together & book club - as I imagined quite quiet place during the week?

OP posts:
GinAndIt · 15/04/2014 19:36
