It's been ages since the last one, where I approached a stranger at a garden centre and asked if she was from the internet (she wasn't).

Anyone up for a meet up?

Right 'O' who wants a meet up? what days are best?

I'm on mat leave & am at One Leisure Huntington Mon/Wed/Fri in the mornings (I still don't fit in my work clothes) so if anyone wants a meet up there on one of those days that's easy.

I know Hunts Garden Leisure is popular especially as it has that fab outdoor play bit under the roof. I'm more a Mon/Thurs as the car goes to work with hubby the rest of the week. Saying that I don't have to be in attendance.

What do you think?

I am always up for a meet-up on Mondays (now my only day where I'm not slaving over a hot laptop). I often do Leo's with the spawn on a Monday, if that's not your idea of purgatory? Otherwise Hunts GL is a favourite hangout.

Speaking of which, did you know that Hunts GL is shortly to open a Costa? No more disgustingly bitter coffee from the Starbucks machine Grin

Damn it, just ventured into Mumsnet Local, meet up is week after next and was all prepared to invite myself ask if I could come along but am working that day. Boo

Hi, I've just joined mumsnet local in the hope of finding friendly local ladies to meet up with for cake, tea and the odd glass of wine or 2- and chat to on line as well. I'm not too far from Huntingdon Garden and leisure so was wondering if I could join you. Mondays are good for me as rugrat 1 will be at pre school but (younger) rugrat 2 will be with me and she's no bother at all. Note to self-must find a green beaker!

Do we all have to bring a green beaker then? I have one. DH has never used it. So, I will be bringing both DDs and a green non-penis-beaker.

it was really odd, I sent a PM because I saw 'Becketts' had entered a competition & I was just saying Hi & they came back saying what competition...
So i sent them the link & they denied all knowledge of entering (i had replied by going through the message poster button on the thread).
They then said they were down south....
I think they were going to change their name!
