Hi all

I think we should try and meet soon if the weather is half decent next week lets make a plan. The only day I can't do is Thursday so happy to meet any other day. Once we have all met up once its easier to get together at houses if the weather is poor. By the way there is a new cafe in princes park too, I haven't been yet but from photos it looks like it has more room inside, if the weather is poor,

Editor? Ambassador? It all sound good to me - does it mean you go to MNHQ & drink lots of gin?

I'm much more of a Southern Comfort drinker than a Gin drinker.

Its one particular tooth that is being difficult, she's sleeping ok, she is just very grizzly during the days :( Poor baby :)

Hi ladies!

We are all moved in and I am now free to meet up! Thanks for all your messages wishing me well with the move. It went ok thanks, still got half the stuff in boxes mind (it's surprising how you don't need half the stuff on a daily basis) but we have all we need out at the moment. I'm hoping to crack on with things at the weekend when my partner is home too.

The park I mentioned was definitely not Hampden Park as we walked through parks near the old town. Perhaps the baby cars I saw were nothing to do with the cafe. Anyway, I am happy to meet wherever. Let's hope that after the rain and the cold snap we're due to have that things improve and we can meet up outside somewhere :-) .

I'm free from 18th March to meet up if you ladies fancy meeting up then?

JenWren32, I reckon you mean the tennis cafe in Gildredge park too! They have lots of ride-on toys and cars for little ones outside the cafe, as well as a small play area inside. And their cake is amazing :)

I'm up for meeting up - however we're doing up a house and moving in the next few weeks and I'm 35 weeks pregnant! So I can't promise anything right now. Having said that, considering neither DS nor I are the most helpful right now, going to the cafe to get out of the way of painting etc might actually be the most helpful thing we can do!

Hi Jen, Glad that the move went okay.

I agree that you may be thinking of Gildredge park if you were walking around the Old Town area.

aufaniae I cant decide whether you are brave or mad to be doing up a house and moving at that late stage of pregnancy!! Hope that your move goes as smoothly as possible. Are you hoping to move before or after baby's arrival?

Congrats on your move Jen it's never easy, I moved 5 times in 6 years and have vowed never to move again.
Aufaniae I think you should definitely come and meet us, paint fumes are not good for you :) cake is.
I am for meeting Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays are better days for me, in term time it would be me and my one year old son, holidays I also have my 5 year old son

Look forward to seeing you all whether you have children or not xxx

Yes, it's very, very depressing.

I am a glass half full person. It's going to be a long hot summer.

We'll be meeting up on the beach, come July, & going swimming! Grin

(I usually sea swim from late May/early June through to October)

Wow that is a lot of times to move in 6 years Mellow1975, you must be a dab hand at it! We get our sofa's delivered on Monday. Hurrah! I can't wait! Somewhere comfy to sit :-)

Would any of you fancy meeting up next week? Would Friday 26th suit any of you ladies? I had a quick peak at what you wrote previously and Mellow you mentioned you are up for meeting up on Fridays, are any of you free that day?

Gildridge Park cafe has been mentioned a couple of times, maybe we could meet there?
