I'm moving to Eastbourne at the beginning of March and I'd love to meet up with you guys. Are you planning to do it again? I don't know anyone in Eastbourne so I'm looking to make some new friends for me and for Mia who is 15 months old.

Hi Emily & all,

Gildridge park sounds good to me and hopefully it will warm up soon. We had a wander through the parks near us and I think that was one of them, there was a cafe with little baby cars outside it, was that the one you meant? If not there then I'm happy to meet elsewhere.

Ok great, we're moving on 1st March so after 4th I am free to meet up.

I think that the park with the cars may be Hampden park? There is a lake there where people go to feed the ducks.

Either way we will find a park to meet up :) Hope that the move goes smoothly. Where are you moving from?

Gildridge is not far from Waitrose - dare I say that? :D

Good luck with the move - do pm me if you want any Eastbourne info, but am not up to speed with schools as my DS is nearly 32!!!!

Yay, Eastbourne people!

Gildridge Park is lovely :) The cafe by the tennis courts is amazingly child friendly.
They make lovely cake on the premises, the coffee's good and they have loads of toys in the cafe and also tractors etc outside. We spent lots of time there last summer :)

Or there's the cafe by the playground too, no idea what it's like though, I've not been in there since it reopened.

Would love to come and meet you all. I have two boys one is nearly six and goes to school, I also have an 11 month old and have not had as much of an opportunity to make mum friends with young babies. I am 38 and think that meeting up in this sort of group is much more fun than going to mother and toddler groups, hope to hear back soon xxx
