Meet-up?

Hi ladies.

I was just wondering if there are any meet-ups planned and, if so, could I invade?

I'm currently on mat leave with DS2 and slowly going a bit mental!

If there isn't any planned, would anybody be interested in helping organise a meet-up?

So it's looking either a Friday or the weekend is going to be best day.

Does anyone object to a Friday?

Oh, mememememe, please!

I am back at work Sad and usually have an assorted number of kids in tow, but shall watch this thread with interest (you have dragged me back from a self-imposed MN holiday).

I cannot do Fridays, but a weekend would be fab. Will go with whatever suits the majority, natch.

Smile

I'd like to come too - am re-locating back to Glasgow v. soon - will watch this thread for venue details.

weegiemum · 10/03/2011 21:01

Someone has to take this in hand and make a decision

Next Friday (18th March)

At the Tramway

11am

SO we can have coffee and cake and then stay for lunch if we want to.

Who is up for it?

Tramway Cafe

There is also an exhibition of nudes on if you are interested!

Malai · 10/03/2011 22:19

Hi,

i would love to join in if its ok, i am on the southside too.

letsgetloud · 10/03/2011 22:51

weegiemum-thanks for taking control of the meet up situation. Sorry I can't make it but I will definately try and make next one.

I have to drop dd3 at nursery at midday and would all be too rushed for me.

Maybe one can also be arranged for the school holidays and we could meet up in a park or somewhere similar.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 10/03/2011 23:22

You are wonderful, weegiemum, and I will be there - I can't wait!!!

Celestialstarlight · 10/03/2011 23:46

Hi all I would have loved to join you but I've got a medical appointment that day. I'm South Lanarkshire but would have driven through. I hope you all have a great time and hopefully i'll be able to come along to the next one Smile

TwoWeeSausages · 11/03/2011 00:20

Thanks for taking control weegiemum.

I will definetly try and come.

lorrz · 11/03/2011 17:01

geordieminx · 11/03/2011 17:07

TwoWeeSausages · 11/03/2011 19:04

geordieminx · 11/03/2011 19:08

I could bring ds 3.8... Although he is in nursery, and I may leave him there and have 5 mins peace!! Grin

TwoWeeSausages · 11/03/2011 23:18

Oh good.

I will be bringing DS2 whos 3mths.

Just wanted to check that I wasn't the only one.

OP posts:
StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 11/03/2011 23:35

I will not be bringing my dses - I will be waving them off to school then swanning off to enjoy myself. However, this means I will be absolutely available to cuddle any and all small babies whilst their mums consume coffee and cake. SmileGrin

Stac2011 · 11/03/2011 23:36

can i get in on this? Cant make next week but would love to meet up with other glasgow mn's. I have an 8mth old dd and an 11yo ds. Currently going demented as a sahm Smile

giggly · 12/03/2011 00:08

Oh almost got excited about making a meet as I do not work Fridays, except the 18th as going on training. Maybe the next one then

TwoWeeSausages · 12/03/2011 00:32

SDTG DS2 is very cuddly!

OP posts:
StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 12/03/2011 11:12

If this goes well, perhaps we could make it a regular monthly thing? The Tramway cafe sounds lovely, and there are other places we could go too - like the Burrell collection.

TwoWeeSausages - now I am really looking forward to Friday - with a very cuddly baby to cuddle. I do still get cuddles from my dses, but as they are strapping teenagers, it's a bit different, and they can't sit on my lap for long any more - otherwise my knees give up the ghost!
