Leeds city centre mums?

Hi I?m Andrea, I?m 31 and a have a 7 month old daughter called Charlotte. I live in Leeds city centre and would love to meet up with other mums for coffee, walks or the odd drink! I have not been able to find many groups or classes in the centre itself and although I don?t mind travelling it would be great to meet some other mums on the doorstep.

Hello! I am not a Mum yet but am due on 4th April with my first. I live in Beeston which is 5 minutes on the bus to the centre. None of my friends have babies yet and I am hoping to meet some new people to hang with! I would love to meet up with you.

Hi!!! I am also in Leeds city centre and new to the area with a 20 week old girl Shreya!!! I agree the local groups are quite far and would love to meet up!

I'm meeting up with another mum next thursday if this is good for you it would be lovely to meet you and your little girl. If not I am free most days tuesdays to thursdays are best.

Are you free this Thursday for a coffee? Say 10:30/11ish at the tiled cafe [in the city library/art gallery]. The time and locations are just a suggestion to get the ball rolling so please let me know if another time / place will suit you better.

Hey ladies,
I?m so sorry but I?m not going to be able to make it tomorrow. Charlotte has had a sickness bug and a temperature over the last 24 hours, it?s her first illness so I?m finding it all very stressful! I hate letting people down but I wouldn?t want to pass it on to any of your little ones.

There are four of us hoping to meet up Kali, Adel, Jay and me. Can you all make it Thursday the following week? Obviously go ahead and meet up without me if you fancy!

Hey ladies,

There are about half a dozen of us interested in meeting up. Unfortunately everyone has different preferences for times and days... so I?m going to suggest two which hopefully will cover everyone. If you are free and fancy meeting up I?ll be in the tiled cafe in the Library / City art gallery [it?s not that exciting but there is cake and lots of space] on Thursday 3rd 11am-ish and Friday 11th 12pm-ish.

I have a blue pram and a baby with a serious face!

I am also expecting in April (my first) and am new to the area and would love to be able to meet up with some local moms. I now have Fridays off (yay!) so if you're still meeting up next Friday and have room for one more I'd love to join you. I have an American accent and an ever-growing belly.

Just to let the other ladies with pushchairs know that there is lift via the library entrance!

Goodness I can't believe it is Thursday evening already. This week has flown by.

Do you fancy meeting up again next Friday 25th. If top of town is good for you then perhaps we can try the Leeds museum cafe or alternatively there is a spacous place called Calls Landing which is at the bottom of town on the river. Shall we say 12pm-ish again?

Hope you've all had a good week. Charlotte has two new teeth to show everyone when we next meet up! Fun!!!!

I'm Vic and I'v got a 10 week old baby girl called Annie- we live in the city centre too. Have been hoping to meet some mums nearby but up until now have only got as far as smiling at random women pushing prams in the street! lol.

  • would love to meet you guys on the 25th. Calls Landing is close by so that would be ideal for me- the staff are nice and friendly in there too. If not, the museum cafe isnt far away so that wouldnt be a problem either.

Andrea, it sounds as though you've a knowledge of local coffee shops to rival mine! lol

Were going away till wednesday so will check back then and see if its still going ahead.

I was at the last meeting in the tiled cafe (I got there after talking with Andrea on netmums.co.uk).

Sorry another week has passed me by in a haze!

Anyone fancy meeting up on Friday 11th at 12pm. We suggested quite a few venues last time we meet but I'm not sure what everyone's preferences are and I'm in a very indecisive frame of mind.
