Leeds city centre mums?

Hi I?m Andrea, I?m 31 and a have a 7 month old daughter called Charlotte. I live in Leeds city centre and would love to meet up with other mums for coffee, walks or the odd drink! I have not been able to find many groups or classes in the centre itself and although I don?t mind travelling it would be great to meet some other mums on the doorstep.

Sorry looks like I won't actually be able to make it after all as Chloë is ill. So unless she is better we will not join you tomorrow. If she is OK tomorrow then I will log on to check for the location of meet.
Regards
Emma

Hey everyone,

When we last met I was hoping for another meet up this week... I don't think I'll manage it now as Charlotte is teething, has a cold and is being an all round mardy bum!

See you next week, on Thursday this time?

Hi, I have just finished work and my first baby is due at the begining of april. I would really like to meet new mums and bumps! Do you still meet on a weekly basis and would I be able to join in?

Hey Georgina,

Congratulations. Not long to go at all then, how exciting! How have you found your pregnancy?

Of course you can join in the more the merrier. We are meeting on a fortnightly basis at the moment, although I think this is largely down to me being disorganised and life racing by way to quickly!

Just about to post our next meet up.

Hello everyone,

I know I suggested meeting on Thursday next week so we could meet a little earlier but do you think we can meet on Friday 25th?

I've just been tipped off about a messy play session at the Art Gallery which sounds good for the older babies... well I think I might enjoy it more than Charlotte! It is on between 10-12 so I thought that those who want to could try it out and we could meet everyone else in the tiled cafe at our usual time of 12. Does this make sense... it has been a long day!

Let me know how this suits you all as we can always meet on the Thursday and me and Charlotte will get messy on our own.

Hi Andrea, Thanks for the 'congratulations'! So far so good with my pregnancy! I can make Friday (assuming no arrival beforehand!) - I will probably pass on the messy play session! but 12.00 sounds good! x

ErinAlice · 18/03/2011 16:59

Georgina,
I am looking forward to meeting you. I am due at the end of April so we should be having our little ones pretty close to eachother. It's been nice to me to be able to go to lunch and ask everyone 1,000 questions about babies.

Andrea, the messy play session sounds like great fun.. can't wait until I have a baby to bring to it!

I'm in London next week but I look forward to seeing everyone in 3 weeks time!

Erin

So lonely at home all day on my own - cannot wait for Oliver to arrive :)

GeorgeW · 31/03/2011 14:26

Hi Andrea

Sorry I didn't make it on Friday, I was in labour! Contractions started early hours of Friday morning and baby Grace was born
that evening! Am sure me and Grace will join you guys soon - assuming I can ever leave the house again!

andrea1906 · 04/04/2011 22:39

Congratulations George, I hope you and Grace are doing well. From what I remeber the first few weeks pass by in a bit of a blur - hope your getting some sleep!!! Be great to meet you both when you are ready.

Hi new mummy [to be].

Don't be lonely come and meet us. There are quite a few of us ladies that meet once every two weeks, including fellow pregos and mums with babies ranging from new borns to one year olds. Quite a few ladies are also new to the area too.

Enjoy your time alone, if Oliver is going to be anything like my little one you'll not have a minute to yourself for a while!!!

Hi All,
Would love to join you again, it's been ages since I joined (just joined the once), what with Chloë being ill and then my in laws coming over for a visit.
If you post here when/were you plan to meet I will try to make it tomorrow.
Congratulation George! Take things easy and enjoy getting to know your little one.
