Vanilla Yoga or Earthlife - any views?

Hi,

I am currently looking for somewhere in the Richmond / Kew / Twickenham area to do pregnany yoga and the two that keep coming up are Vanilla Yoga in Richmond and Earthlife in Kew.

As a newbie to yoga I'm a little in the dark. Does anyone have any experience of these two and would you recommend?

Thanks!

Hi, I went to Vanilla Yoga and she was lovely. TBH yoga isn't really my bag and I felt a bit uncomfortable during some of the more new-agey bits (IYSWIM - can you call an ancient discipline new age?!) but I'm sure that's just me.

I was a newbie too so obviously I have nothing to compare it to but would still recommend. She used to offer drop-ins so if that's still the case you could try a class out before committing to a whole course? My NCT friend did baby yoga with her too and was impressed.

I came across someone else offering courses in St Margarets but this was over a year ago. If I come across the details again in the near future I'll post them.

Here you go - NB she is on maternity leave until Sept

that's great, thanks Ktay. Likewise I am not the most 'new age' so as long as it doesn't involve chanting I think I'll give it a go!

ohhhh.. a bit of a late posting! but please do try this teacher:-

I use to go to her classes in Parsons Green as this was on the way home from work... she has now set up classes in Twickenham & Richmond. Fab teacher - just loved her classes... I think she is a Doula as well and an Active Birth Teacher and not a whiff of patchouli!
