O.k. let's get organised

Shall we aim for either weekend 18/19/20 or 25/26/27?

Starting off with a dinner somewhere (suggestions please as I have no idea) with the hard core drinkers going on afterwards? ;)

is arf good or bad? ;)

I think I'll be able to escape the COD sign as if we're going somewhere for dinner first I can book a table

Christmas do!?! It's only July!!! LOL

Well I've checked the most important part of the menu - dessert and wine and think it looks fine. Lovely location too, great idea MrsBigD.

The lovely pilgrims are here and we have a mob (actually, what is the collective noun for pilgrims?) [googles] aha a progress singing uplifting songs in the Catholic school opposite and being terribly enthusiastic youth leaders in the local park while the rest of us locals sit at the edge drinking coffee and NOT climbing to the top of the giant spiders web.

MrsBigD · 15/07/2008 04:37

rofl re enthusiastic youth leaders... had them here singing/marching trough the roads as well heading for the train station, not to forget the matching shirts, back packs and flags & banners ...

Yeah I checked for deserts first too

I would like to see Chasers give them a bit of a squirt with the APEC water cannons. Just for a laugh, you know

Not much happening on here eh? Where are you ladies? Getting swept up in the hymn singing?

Sorry I've been offline for a bit (away getting employed, finding a new flat and buying a car...)

LOL at pilgrim chat. I lol'd this morning at an old fella standing outside Circular Quay wearing a sandwich board saying "God is a Hoax". More power to him I say.

(And yes I've always been violentfemme...)

Oh yes please.

DH is still not pleased that I have a better social life than him. I remind him that his time will come.

Anyway, I've just been to Pomegranate Thai on Darling St, Balmain on a wee works night. Was lovely and I'd highly recommend it (esp to BrightonGirl and Nine Dragons as they're pretty much nearby).

Going to bed night night.

Bumping for you.

Even if you only get four, I can vouch for two of those and guarantee you'll have a fantastic time.

Oy I've just set up a new thread because i couldn't find this one!
Bugger.
I got caught up in a bunch of hysterical flag waving foreigners today - they were all heading to see the white hatted one in his noddy car.
I'm def up so count me in, though I may have to be a bit late depending on DD's molars (all 4 coming though and causing bedtime mayhem).
ND - is there any way we can fly you over? I'm really going to miss you, you bad, bad lady!

Ok - now I can hear diabolical Christian rock thats being projected across Darling harbour - my ears are bleeding - and no, its not stigmata...
Argggh for a drink or 3 - or a bottle..of gin

Yes alright I know its me again, but have just had a great idea - why don't we all wear a "I love Jesus" t-shirt? I've seen them on sale around here - crap material, probably thin enough to show bra (christian hussy) and cheap as chips. Oh - it was only an idea. I'll shut up and go back into my naughty corner >

at Jesus Love You t-shirt. NO NO NO NO NO. I would look like a religious michelin man. LOL at stigmata and Christian Rock [shudders] tho, and Brightongirl can you explain the threadkillers to me? What did you lot do that was so bad?

I've been busy in RL. School holidays etc. In fact we need another break to get over the shock. Since coming back from Fiji we've had a playdate or sleepover EVERY single day and tomorrow I'm taking a group of 5 year olds to the cinema, returning them to respective parents and then going straight onto Hornsby for another sleepover with 3 under 5's.

[and you wonder why I drink so much wine?]

Anyhoo, I'm in, despite the fact that I'm supposed to be undoing the Fiji damage in the gym from Tuesday onwards.

ninedragons · 18/07/2008 09:39

You should all draw stigmata on your hands with lipstick to recognise each other.

MrsBigD · 18/07/2008 10:05

arfishy you definitely have been busy! I did kids swap with the neighbour today, first I had them running riot in our house and then I ditched dd with them LOL

ninedragon... lipstick? I vaguely remember... 'note to self' need to buy some basic makeup in attempt to look semi-presentable on Friday!

Can anyone do earlier? OH is away that night so I can make it (the joys of older kids who can babysit ), but I'm not going to be able to stay out too late. If anyone fancies a pre-dinner cocktail at 7.........?

I have booked a table for dinner at that place. Seating time is 20:30 so we'll have to meet up in the cocktail bar to kill some time... oh the shame of it LOL

Sunny, not sure when dh will be home, but generally it's around 18:30. However, you're welcome to come past me for a warm up drink ;)

The video display on my laptop died so not sure how often I will check back as I can only start it in safe mode via the tv and internet is VERY temperamental... at internet cafe atm. Just can't live without technology!
