Have not seen the other threads Sibble, will go and have a read now, I knew your dh wanted to go to ôz but this is difficult, you have such a good place and as you said more settled.

Your dh seemed a lovely guy, but I could see he had a strong will. Why did he hand in his notice? At least you know some people over there.

My parents are off to the States tomorrow to see my brother and his kids, then they do a 7 day cruise up to Alaska which sounds great.

hello me dears, my word life is so up and down isn't it. Now you seem to have found some peace at last Papillon, your life is in turmoil, Sibble, just not fair is it. I hope things settle down for you soon, Sibble and you manage to find a way to unwind, how about massage, it's so nice to relax and just let someome do the healing for you, less introspective if you know what I mean...best of luck.
Your garden is going to be so changed next time I see it, isn't it Paps...can't wait
Hey we got permission to get a puppy from the house owner, now we are agonizing over which type to get, think I may go to the SPCA and choose a nice female mongrel who just needs a home ...

Thnaks guys. Things are looking up in that he has 3 interviews for NZ based jobs over the next week. All international companies so if he's succesful, the job looks good and they offer a good package he will stay with the proviso that we consider jumping the ditch when ds1 changes schools. He's 8 now so not sure when that is!! 11 I think. Much less unsettling all round. 2 of the companies are Ozzie and one is flying the MD over for his interview so they seem serious in considering him. He's still going for the other interviews in Oz but we don't have dates yet. Hopefully we will all be able to go and have a look round. Help make the decision.

COngrats on getting a dog. I'm petrified of them but ds2 would love one. He now has an imaginary friend called Charlie and an imaginary dog who he takes for walks to the shops and park on a lead. YEs he drags an empty lead about . Dh thinks I'm very mean. We have to pet the dog and scold him when he jumps up. Makes for interesting converstaions in Pak n Save

Jeez thats a relief for afew job offers here, I mean where else can I stay when I come to Auckland, yours is the top pad

I think the shock of very quick bach sale, with the job leaving was quite full on and now at least in the proviso you can stay at home for abit yet. Good thinking on the kids and school changes, sounds more gentle for everyone.

I am at dog kjm, want one and will get one in the spring or thereabouts, and a kitten. they can grow up together.

dh is coming down this weekend he was going to a party but two days spent on the fence around us is proving to be the preferred choice, which is good with me working saturday, so childcare now sorted.

My boss at work wants to work less hours, pass sales and marketing onto me. hav said I want to, but slowly at first and not overdo life Oh, my roof and insulation are being done next week, Yah will be less damp the main problem here, its very mild huh

just realised was going to post message with a comment to the English about the weather Did some planting in the garden, koromiko, ribbonwood I think, and some other native don´t know its name yet, just like how it grows

Any news Sibble?

Indeed congrats on the roof!

No news as such dh has had 4 interviews with one more to go this week. All sound promising, he's had references taken up and has 2 follow-up ones. He's also waiting for the dates/times of 2 in QLD - so we are still in limbo but feeling a bit more positive that he seems keen on all the interviews he's been to so far. have yet to discuss money etc...and see something in writing but more promisind that this time last week!!

Thanks for thinking of me

well well, the bottom does seem to have dropped out of our little thread doesnt' it!! !!
Guess we must all have a lot going on...
Well for me, my Ds turned four on the 20th which was lots of fun and tiring of course! Can't believe my wee boy is getting so big. He is getting used to five mornings a week at morning kindy now and I have started a job so am now a working mum for the first time, how do you fit it all in!!! I'm sure I'll get used to it but at present it feels like I don't have time to scratch my...nose Great to be back at work though, I think it's very important to my (still) healing process to get on with this sector of my life and move on from being a SAHM.
So what of you two? How's your lovely house with it's new roof Paps? How's your job at the nursery, you and the lo's still enjoying it? Bet you're getting awfully good at identifying natives.
And how are you Sibble, I haven't had a chance to catch up with any other threads so haven't read any news on what's happening with your Dh's job, did he get an offer, if so where?
Anyhow hope you are both well and happy as we are here.
xx

Good to hear from you Sibble, excellent news we're not loosing you to the other side of the Tasmin, or further. Must be a relief for you to be able to do your Uk trip knowing you can stay where you are for the forseeable future. Happy painting, I find it quite therapeutic myself.
We're off to Rotorua for a night tomorrow, Dp is seeing some customers and Ds and I plan to do lots of warm water therapy..then we shall stop at Ohakune for a night and try and get up to the snow line, Ds is desperate to throw a snow ball, bless him.
Nice to have you both back on line xx

The trip to the pools sound lovely kjm hope your ds gets his snow ball fantasy!

My kids are probably off to CHch in the weekend, which will be fun for them and I can really do some more work on my fence and garden.

Sibble really glad to hear you are staying put. Watch out you dont get painting arm, good chance to practise being ambidexious!

I am off to Te Aute college (world famous in NZ Maori all boys high school) we are doing a planting there. So that should be an interesting start for me with the trees in schools programme cos of the Maoridom, Tangata Whenua side to the perspective of Native Trees.

You mentioned you find painting therapedic kjm, i am like that with the plants, had my headphones on today transplanting cuttings and I was off in my own mandala like plan of existence...

hello,
Back from our wee road trip, was really good fun (see photos on profile) great to go from the warm pools of Rotorua to the cold of Ruapehu, two extremes so close together, great stuff and quite the hallmark of this country I think.

Sorry I missed you on Messenger, Paps, I'd forgotten to sign out. Hope your planting went well at the the boys school, your job is just fantastic isn't it, I'm so pleased for you.

How's the painting going Sibble, is it looking good? What colour are you painting? I am an avid house colour spotter as I am always planning for when we finally realise our dreams! (that'd be the eko house we'll be building with the business on 5 acres of organic gardens of course...one day..)

Hi KJM

A holiday in the South Island, hope that was good times for you all

I have been a home body the past 2 weeks, with no travel at all except down the road to work.

Ahhh just out of the bath with ds, we had a lovely time together and afterwards I gave him a oil massage which he loved. I felt the need to bond with him and have a quiet loving time, as I have been frazzled for quite some time and am finding alot more inner peace and harmony recently. Re-connecting to my Shaman path and what it means to be a woman

Blessings XX
